(Sorry the chapters have been so short, everyone in my house is sick so I've been busy taking care of

everything.)

"Good morning Lola." Charli whispered

"Good morning Charli." I whispered back to her

"What do you want for dinner?"

"Um I don't know."

Charli stood up and walked over to the kitchen.

"I'll be over in a sec. My mom is calling."

"Okay."

"Hey honey."

"Hey mom what's up? How's dad?"

"Good, I figured you and Charli were hungry so I'm leaving now to go get something to eat. Ask Charli

what she wants."

"Okay, Charli do you want for dinner!?" I yelled

"I don't care, what did you have in mind."

"My mom's going to pick something up."

"I don't care food is food."

"Okay."

"She said she doesn't care didn't she?" mom asked

"Yeah."

"I figured. See you in a little while."

Ding dong

"That's probably my mom!" Charli yelled from upstairs

"Who is it?!" I hollered from the Kitchen

"Stacy."

"Oh okay give me one second."

I ran over to the door.

"Hey how are you?"

"Good and you?"

"Good now that Charli is spending the night."

Stacy smiled.

"I'll go let her know you're here."

"Okay thank you honey."

"No problem mama number two."

I call her mama number two every now and again because she has been there for me since Charli

and I met in kindergarten...anything i needed she was always there even though my parents always

had things covered.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Your mom's downstairs."

"Okay I'm almost done."

"Okay Lola we'll be back in a little."

"Okay I'll text you a list of things to bring."

"Okay sounds good. Whoa mom why are you wearing all of that?"

"A hat, scarf, gloves, and a coat? "

" Yeah."

"Um becuase it's so cold it feels like you're inside a freezer."

"Mom that was the lamest similie ever."

"I hate to admit it, but that was the worst similie ever."

"Oh well when you girls graduate collage and get a higher IQ then come talk to me." Stacy

commented jokingly

I stepped outside to make sure they got to the car safely...although I was mainly making sure Charli

got to the car safely, but oh well.

I looked up at the sky wondering if it would snow. I don't know how it wasn't snowing right then and

there it was so cold I felt as if I had frozen to the wood of my porch. After that I ran inside and started typing a list of things Charli should bring...
