Day 1- 6pm - Ezra Aurora
And I thought my day couldn't get any weirder. Once we directed Annabeth Chase to were her husband was, Jessica and I headed straight toward the Dining Pavilion where everyone had gathered to start this game of capture the flag. The alliances went like this:
For team 1: Athena Cabin, Apollo Cabin, Poseidon Cabin, Hecate Cabin, Aphrodite Cabin, Hebe Cabin, Hades Cabin, Hermes Cabin and the Hephaestus Cabin.
For team 2: Ares Cabin, Demeter Cabin, Iris Cabin, Dionysus Cabin, Nemesis Cabin, Nike Cabin and last and most surprisingly, the Zeus Cabin.
I know what you might be thinking, why on earth did the Zeus Cabin go with the Ares Cabin? Well, there was an ongoing issue between the Zeus and Hades Cabins as one stole something from he other, I don't remember it that well, the point is, they didn't get along. Of course, everyone else went to Ares' side once they heard that the Zeus Cabin had allied with them.
One thing was for sure, we where screwed. We where divided into defensive and offensive by the Athena Cabin and of course, Jessica and I were chosen for the defensive team no matter how much we complained.
3rd person POV
As team one set their flag proudly on Zeus'fist as usual for the group, Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson were discussing his disappearance.
-" You cant just run off like that seaweed brain! I was worried!" she said as they sat together on his bunk. Annabeth noticed Percy seemed worried about something as his eyebrows where scrunched up together. "Why did you come back to camp anyway and not tell me or the kids?" she asked as she placed her hand on his shoulder and he stared at her, her smile giving him a reason to smile.
Author intervention: *THEY DO HAVE KIDS!!*EEEEEEEEE
-" I know, but the other day while I was visiting Rachel at her art studio, she gave me a prophecy" he said. Annabeth's face turned to a worried glance, why does it always have to happen to us! she thought. " I wanted to ask Chiron about it as it involved Camp".
-" What do you mean it involved camp?" Annabeth asked as she held his hand.
-" It talked about a few campers, not by name but it did say a quintet for the disappearance shall be blamed and I assumed it would be campers" he said as he couldn't bare to look at Annabeth.
-" Tell me the prophecy Percy" she said after taking a deep breath and wondering what could make Percy, the most upbeat guy she knew, so sad and nervous.
" The great trainer gone, never to return
A son of Poseidon shall be twisted and turned
A quintet for the disappearance shall be blamed
A group so powerful shall put the seven to shame
The daughter of light and son of travel
Shall have their own quest to unravel
The son of water, madness and the daughter of wisdom
Shall find and save the forgotten kingdom
The traitor in their ranks shall be found
And the group shall perish without a sound
Leaving their quest to remain
Up to the seven for the world to save"Percy said as he now stared at Annabeth, her face deep in thought. The daughter of Athena finally got the courage to speak
-" The great trainer gone, never to return, does that mean Chiron-" Annabeth couldn't finish that thought as someone banged on the door.
-" Percy? You coming? Capture the Flag is starting!" A unfamiliar voice to Annabeth said. Percy looked at Annabeth as she have him a smile. She knew that they needed to get their minds off the prophecy.
-" Ill be there in a minute" Percy said, the light coming back onto his face as he thought of the game he missed so much for those 20 years he had been gone.
-" Lets go kick some butt" Annabeth said
-" Don't we always" he responded as holding hands, they walked towards the door.
