The Half-Blood Quintet ( A Percy Jackson Fanfic)

Chapter 12.

   3rd person POV

  -"You want us to do what?" Charles Jackson asked as his eyebrows raised up, startled.

     -" If they are more powerful than our parents combined, they are a big threat" Robert Grace said as he now ate Christopher's popcorn.

     -" Exactly" Anthony Grace said as he set out a map of Camp Half-Blood on the ping pong table, he pointed as Zeus'Fist "This is were they last were spotted, I believe we should split into groups, one to see if they can follow their trail and the other as a reserve it the other finds anything, does everyone agree?" Anthony said.

     -" How do we know that they aren't peaceful and are actually trying to help us?" Nelly Jackson asked.

     -" Nelly, these people kidnapped Chiron and I have proof" Anthony exclaimed as everyone in the room stared at their friend.

     -" State it" Christopher said as he crossed his arms and stared at Anthony.

     -" My main proof,  is that right the exact day that Chiron disappeared from camp, the five kids" He pulled out five pictures that seemed from security cameras and some cut from group pictures and placed them on top of the map. He pointed at a girl with raven hair and deep brown eyes " Ezra Aurora, daughter of Apollo, 12 years old, originally Cuban. That day, she sent a group of Ares campers to the infirmary with second degree burns and most of them are still blind to this day" he said as he pulled out more pictures of kids with first and second degree burns all over their bodies and passed them around.

     -" Brutal" Angelina Valdez said as she looked at the photos.

     -" So does she have some sort of light related ability?" Charles Jackson asked as he stared at the faces of the 12-15 year olds in pain. How could one girl do this? he asked himself.

     -" Photokinesis, the ability to control light. It's terrifying once you see it with your own eyes" he shivered at the thought of what he saw just that very day " We don't know to what extent her powers go but I have seen her melt an imperial gold sword without even focusing so she is the biggest threat we need to watch out for".

     -" Any weaknesses?" Nelly asked as she passed the pictures around, she couldn't bear imagine what pain those kids had to go through. 

     -" The only ones I know, are that she harnesses energy from the sun so getting her underground or in an area where the sun doesn't shine as much would be critical" Anthony said as Christopher Zhang smirked.

     -" You can leave that one up to me" he said as he smiled at the group.

     -" I imagined, next up " he said as he pointed at the picture of a boy with messy brown hair and vibrant blue eyes, the photo seemed to be cut out from a newspaper as explained it being black and white " Aaron Evans, son of Hermes, 11 years old, the guy seems pretty off the grid so that has led me to believe his is a veteran in the Hermes cabin or homeless. He has superspeed-"

     -" Oh great! And I thought this was going to be easy five minutes ago when you told me these were kids" Angelina Valdez stated as she played around with a stack of paperclips.

     -" Don't underestimate them Anne, his speeds if worried rival Arion's" Anthony said as he passed around the picture of the boy, he seemed happy and young, not like he could be a kidnapper.

     -" Like the Arion? Fastest horse in the word we are talking about?" Christopher Zhang asked. He himself had seen the speeds of his mother's horse but he couldn't even imagine someone or something for that matter being as fast or even faster than him. Anthony nodded and fear filled Christopher's eyes

     -" I tried to take him out earlier with Footcuffs but things didn't turn out that well" Anthony said, ashamed of himself for his failure.

    -" Footcuffs?" Angelina Valdez laughed as she imagined Anthony using her creation "Wait my Footcuffs?" she asked " how could they have failed?".

     -"  I don't know" he said as he took another picture out of his pocket to get his mind off his failure. He took out a picture of your average Athena girl with blonde hair but with blue tips and grey eyes " Marie Davies, Daughter of Athena, 12 years old, I like to say she orquestrates most the group's shenanigans , her special ability if we are going to call it that, is that she is said to be able to shapeshift into other human beings".

     -" Wait, why would a child of Athena be able to shapeshift?" Charles Jackson asked as he stood at the edge of his seat with so many questions.

     -" That is more of a godly thing than an Athena thing, right?" Robert Grace asked.

    -" I don't know" he said as he looked for another photo in his pocket, he puller out a school photo of a 13 year old boy with combed black hair and sea-green eyes.

    -" Thats a Poseidon kid for sure" Nelly Jackson said as she stared at the photo.

     -" Most Poseidon kids look alike" Charles Jackson said as his grey eyes met with his sister's, would they really have to kill kids like their parents? They thought, ignoring the fact that they are technically their uncles and aunts.

     -Kai Monroe, 13 years old, I have seen him evaporate liquids into gasses and turn poisons into deadlier poison gases" Anthony said.

    -" But why is he so dangerous if Nelly and Charles'dad can do that stuff?"Angelina asked.

     -" Nelly, Charles, your father's abilities mostly lie in controlling water and other liquids, we all know that he was once able to control poison. The thing is that Kai's abilities lie with any liquid or any gas, not necessarily water means that if there is no water around like in a volcano, or in a desert, he has wider domains that makes his powers unique" Anthony said as he took out the final picture from his pocket,  a boy with brown hair and purple eyes "Finally, Connor Murphy, Dionysus camper, 12 years old, about 9 campers were reported to have gone insane thanks to Connor and a few dozen others having large headaches after coming into contact with him" Anthony said.

     -" How could a 12 year old do something like that?" Charles Jackson asked.

     -" Thats why they are dangerous" Robert Grace said as he started standing up " I am going to start trying to find these criminals instead of sitting around and discussing about what we should do" he said, Charles and and Anthony also stood up.

     -" That makes three of us then" Charles said.

     -" If you find anything-" 

     -" Of course I'll iris message you Angelina" Anthony said as the 3 grabbed their weapons and headed out of the big house.

     -"I think we need to split up" Connor said " If they are looking for us, they have a bigger chance of finding us if we are together".

     -" I agree, we should do the groups of the prophecy, Ezra with Aaron and Kai, me and Connor" Marie said as she finished sipping her water from her canteen.

    -" I am going to miss you guys" Ezra said as she hugged Marie " I never wanted this to happen. but I know that they are not going to stop until they find us, stay safe" she said as she looked at her friends and they split up.

     -" I found them" Charles told Angelina "They split up, we are following the biggest group, you three should follow the Apollo and Hermes campers".

     -" Only if I get to blow something up" Angelina smirked.

     -" I cant promise anything, I left a branch pointer to the direction that they went" he said " good luck, find Chiron".
