As the days flew by, the test loomed closer, but Sun-woo's dedication and determination shone brightly. He proved to be a diligent and attentive student, eagerly absorbing every piece of knowledge shared during our study sessions.

His thirst for learning was palpable, and it was evident that he was determined to excel in every aspect of the test, including the written portion that initially concerned him. Sun-woo's commitment to his studies was commendable, as he diligently practiced his writing, sought clarification on complex concepts, and delved into the depths of Silla's rich history.

During our study sessions, I marveled at Sun-woo's intellectual growth. His curiosity and passion ignited a fire within me, and together, we delved into the intricacies of literature, philosophy, and strategy. We engaged in thought-provoking discussions, challenging each other's perspectives, and expanding our understanding of the world.

Sun-woo's perseverance was truly inspiring. Even when faced with difficult concepts or complex questions, he approached them with a tenacious spirit, refusing to back down. He sought guidance from Gwang-tae and me, valuing our insights and incorporating them into his studies.

On the other hand, Hansung completely ignored me from past weeks. Despite my attempts to engage him in conversation or offer support, Hansung brushed me off, giving me curt responses or simply avoiding eye contact.

One day, as I couldn't bear the distance any longer, I mustered the courage to approach Hansung and gently asked if everything was alright. His response was cold and distant.

"I'm fine," he replied dismissively, his gaze fixed elsewhere. "I just have some wounds that need to be treated. Ah-rho is helping me with that."

My heart sank at his words. Ah-rho, his half-sister whom he had reunited with, seemed to have taken precedence over our bond. It stung to see him seek solace and care from someone else while disregarding my presence.

Feeling a mix of sadness and confusion, I tried to conceal my disappointment and muster a smile. "I'm glad Ah-rho is there for you, Hansung," I managed to say, my voice tinged with a hint of longing. "If you need anything, remember that I'm here too."

What's up with him.

"Da-eun," His voice called me out.

"I... I'm sorry," he began, his voice tinged with a hint of vulnerability. "I've been distant because I felt awkward after what happened in the hut. It's not that I wanted to ignore you or push you away. It's just... I didn't know how to face you after that night."

"Hansung, I understand," I replied softly, my voice filled with empathy.

He sighed, his eyes reflecting a mix of regret and longing. "I know, and I'm sorry for withdrawing like this. I realized that avoiding you wasn't the solution. It only made things more difficult. The truth is, I've missed you. Your presence, our conversations... everything."
