I turned to Gwang-Tae, curiosity evident in my voice as I interrupted his narration. "Wait, Gwang-Tae, a new student in the middle of the training? How is that even possible?"

"Wi-Hwa Master said that he is the potential king of the kingdom," I blinked in surprise at Gwang-Tae's revelation. "The potential king of the kingdom?" I repeated, my voice filled with astonishment.

Gwang-Tae nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, that's what Wi-Hwa Master hinted at. Ji-dwi carries the weight of a noble lineage and has the potential to become the future ruler of the kingdom."

My mind raced with questions, trying to piece together the implications of this revelation. "But if Ji-dwi is being trained as a hwarang, isn't that a departure from the usual path of a prince? Shouldn't he be learning about governance and politics instead?"

Gwang-Tae's eyes twinkled with a mix of confusion and secrecy. "This kingdom is full of surprises. I don't want you to tell this to you're new friends,"

"Who?"

"Sun-woo and the other hwarangs," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's best to keep this information to ourselves for now. Ji-dwi's true identity as the potential king is a delicate matter, and revealing it prematurely could bring unwanted attention and risk."

I nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I'll keep it a secret, Gwang-Tae.

"So you guys got to know my identity huh?"

I turned around, startled by the sudden voice behind me. It was Ji-dwi, the prince, standing there with a mix of curiosity and apprehension in his eyes. Gwang-Tae and I exchanged glances, realizing that our secret had been uncovered.

Ji-dwi stepped closer, his gaze fixed on us. "I overheard your conversation," he admitted, his voice calm yet filled with a hint of vulnerability. "You know who I truly am, don't you?"

"Your highness," I stood with sense of respect and reverence, acknowledging Ji-dwi's true identity as the potential king.

"It's okay you don't have to be formal with me here. Nobody really knows me here as prince and it should be hidden" He added.

Understood, Your Highness," I replied, adjusting my tone to a more casual and friendly one. "We'll respect your wishes and maintain the secrecy of your identity here. Among the hwarangs, we'll treat you as one of us, without the burden of your princely title."

"So, Why did you join the hwarang? I heard you are the potential king?"

I looked at Ji-dwi, taking a moment to gather my thoughts before responding. "I joined the hwarang for various reasons," he began, his voice steady. "First and foremost, I wanted to challenge myself and push beyond my limits. The hwarang offered a rigorous training program that would not only sharpen my skills but also instill in me a sense of discipline and perseverance."
