It's 3am i'm tired so expect this to be shitty
I could hear the rustling of leaves as they took small flights in the air, feeling the wind blow against my face. It was getting chilly, I quickened my pace and managed to reach the station in a matter of seconds.
Luckily for me the train was just arriving, could save me from the wait since my legs are aching so much. As the train got closer the crowd started jostling towards the platform, Kei muttered out a quick "tsk" as he got shoved away from the train door by a irritated bunch of businessmen, probably had a bad day at work. Kei hated crowds especially when it involved him having to direct himself through a sea of people. "I can't wait to get home to tobio".
As I was unlocking the door i could hear the sounds of footsteps getting louder and louder, sighing i opened the door to my boyfriend and wasn't surprised to be engulfed in a hug. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me close, i could feel his warmth, it was comforting. I let myself be vulnerable in his arms and buried my head in the crook of his neck.
His grip on me was tight, "we should get inside" he was reluctant to let go and i knew i had to take a seat soon since my legs were giving in. "Hey king, you've really gotten stronger from all the volleyball training haven't you."
"Shut up-" I could feel a blush starting to form on his face and took this chance to swiftly shut the door and somehow managed to move to the couch. Work is definitely tiring but honestly getting back to this makes up for it. These moments always have me feeling so comforted. I loosened my hold on the raven haired boy- his dark blue eyes reflected an image of me, the one side of me, the one where i let myself be who I actually am. I entrusted my whole being to the scowling idiot in front of me. Knowing that he's here with me right now is all i needed.
Kageyama was getting frustrated at this point, he could tell tsukishima was thinking about something but all he wanted right now was for him to be able to sink into kei's warmth. And of course Kei saw that he quickly snapped out of it and planted a kiss on his lovely boyfriend's forehead.
"I love you" kei managed to say out obviously tired, "love you too" kei smiled at that, a bit too much. With that they both fell asleep in a comforting embrace.
