"It says here that diplomats to Romanacus get a royal welcome, including but not limited to the flying band, parade, and fireworks." Annabeth said as she read a guide book as she flew next to Percy.

Percy lightly pushed her book down as Annabeth gave him an exhausted look. "Annabeth, you've been reading me pages of that book for hours. We're almost there so we can find out this info ourselves."

"But it's always good to know your information before you go somewhere new."

"Okay, this book." Percy said, grabbing the book out of Annabeth's hands, opening his suitcase as he put it on top. "My suitcase."

"Give it back!" Annabeth whined, flying over Percy to try and grab Percy's suitcase.

"Not until the end of this mission." Percy said. Laughing as he swerved away from Annabeth. "You are the most over prepared fairy I have ever met."

"Which is why I need the book! So I can be prepared!"

"You know everything though, Wise Girl! You're fine!" Percy said, landing down in a clearing surrounded by flowers. Percy held up the suitcase above his head as Annabeth fluttered a couple inches above him as he kept moving the suitcase to keep it out of Annabeth's grasp.

"Prince Perseus Jackson of Halfling, you better give that book back!" Annabeth said, circling around Percy until she fell on the ground.

"I will... Once we get to the castle. We're already at the meeting place."

"You tricked me." Annabeth pouted.

"Only to get us here." Percy said, smiling as Annabeth stood back up.

"Okay... But where's the flying band?" Annabeth asked, looking around.

"No idea..." Percy said, pausing when he heard rustling in the bushes. He motioned for Annabeth to follow and when he cleared the bushes, the two saw a girl with see through wings themed after crystals, dark skin, dark hair, and eyes as yellow as gold.

"Please don't eat me!" The girl begged.

"We're not gonna eat you." Annabeth said, pushing Percy back. "I'm Annabeth and this is Prince Perseus. We're from Halfling."

"So you aren't gonna hypnotize me and take me back to your dark dismal cave?" The girl asked cautiously.

"Dark dismal cave?" Annabeth asked cautiously.

"Yeah, sorry to disappoint, but I can't hypnotize people. I can control water to a certain extent to make flowers light up, but no ability to hypnotize." Percy said, shrugging.

"Oh good!" The girl said, fluttering up until she was standing in front of Percy and Annabeth. "Sorry about that! When King Jupiter told me and my partner that we were greeting two butterfly fairies, I guess we just thought the worst."

"It's fine." Percy said, laughing as he heard rustling behind him.

The girl walked behind them, clearing the leaves. "You can come out Frank. They're not gonna hurt us."

A tall man with clear wings stood up, awkwardly laughing. "Sorry... We've just-"

"Heard a lot of stories about butterfly fairies? I'm sure we've heard just as bad of stories about you guys." Annabeth said warmly.

The girl laughed. "Well, I'm Hazel, this is Frank, and on behalf of our generous ruler, King Jupiter, welcome to Romanacus!"

"We're happy to be here!" Percy said, smiling to himself.

"Might I say Annabeth, your wings are beautiful. Do all butterfly fairy wings get that big?" Hazel asked, fluttering around Annabeth.

"Well, thank you, but no, most people's wings don't get this big. Mine are a... Special case." Annabeth said awkwardly.
