Chapter 13

"Lord Chiron, here come the princes!" A guard said as Percy and Tyson flew towards Lord Chiron with Beckendorf, Ella, and six other guards following in suit.

"Your majesties, we have been so worried! Where have you been?"

"Where we've been doesn't matter." Tyson said angrily, pointing at Luke. "What does matter is that he's the one who poisoned our father!"

"Me? Poison King Poseidon? That's preposterous, your highness." Luke said innocently.

"Oh, don't pull the innocent line with us." Percy said, pulling out a bottle from his pocket. "Thalia and I saw you sneak into the cave under Halfling and make the ilios poison!"

"Thalia? She's working with you?" Luke asked worriedly.

"She was the one who broke us out." Tyson said, smirking to himself. "Pretty tough girl."

"You mean..." Lord Chiron asked as Percy, Tyson, and the guards started cornering Luke.

"Yes, Lord Chiron, I'm the one who poisoned King Poseidon." Luke said, sneering at the group of people. "This is all because of me."

"Why would you do this?" Tyson asked. "Our father has been nothing but nice to you, so why-"

"Because he was the reason my family was casted out of Halfling." Luke said angrily.

Percy's eyes widened. "You mean-"

"Yes. My mother is a descendants of Kronos, the head Titan." Luke said, glaring at everyone. "I don't care about this stupid place."

"Halfling and everyone in it will be destroyed!" Lord Chiron yelled.

"Not everyone." Luke said, jumping off of the edge and then resurfacing on the back of a Titan. "Time for your feast, my brethren!"

The fairies around them started hesitating as Percy pulled some thistleburst out of his pocket and held it up to the Titans. They all backed away, but Luke held his ground. "That's just one little light! It can't do anything!"

"How about a hundred!" Thalia yelled as she and Grover came in with the flutter pixies, carrying boxes of already lit thistleburst as the flutter pixies started attaching slingshots to the weapons the guards were holding.

"Hold your ground!" Luke yelled as the flutter pixies started attacking the Titans by launching the thistleburst at them.

"How long can we hold them, sir?" Grover asked, flying up to Lord Chiron.

"I don't know."

"Valiant effort," Luke said, slow clapping the guards. "But you can't do this forever. Once the king succumbs to my poison-"

"Luke, you did this!?" Annabeth said as she, Piper, Silena, Clarisse, and Rachel flew up to the group.

"I told you she'd make it on time." Percy said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh come on Annabeth, you-" Luke started to say, his eyes drifting down to Annabeth's hand when he saw that she had the antidote. He looked at the Titans. "After her!"

"Protect the blonde girl!" Percy yelled as half of the guards started throwing thistleburst to block the Titans from Annabeth.

Annabeth quickly flew down and headed straight to the throne room as the others started helping in the fight, Luke hopping off of his Titan and following Annabeth inside.

Once inside, Annabeth locked eyes on King Poseidon as she started flapping her wings harder, Luke catching up in no time and snatching the flower out of Annabeth's hands. "You didn't really think that I would let you ruin my plans, would you? Especially when you helped me do it the first time?"
