As the birds sing their early morning song, Tanjiro wakes up to find Zenitsu resting his head on his chest. He snores just a bit and it's fast asleep.
"How cute."
He thought to himself what he just said. He brushed it off and grabbed a nearby pillow and puts it under Zenitsu's head. He makes sure the blanket is over him and that he's warm. He slowly opened the door and left. Shutting the door behind him he left to go get breakfast.
"Good morning Kanoe!"
"Hi."
He hurried down down the hallway. He just wanted to get his food and relax outside. Yesterday hit him like a ton of bricks.As he got his food he found a nice and shady tree to sit under. As he ate he listened to the birds sing, he smelt the flowers around the manner. He heard someone screaming.
"Oh. That's where Inosuke is!"
He walks towards the screaming only to find Inosuke yelling at a bird. How "surprising".
"STUPID LITTLE BIRD! YOU THINK YOU CAN BE LOUDER THAN ME???"
Inouske started screaming at the tree that the bird was in, not noticing that Tanjiro was only a few steps away.
"Again.. that's the 3rd time this week..."
"Oh? OH! Hey Gonpachiro! Where's Monitsu? Is he hiding???"
"First, my name is Tanjiro and his name is Zenitsu. Second, I have something important to talk to you about. Can we go inside?"
"I'm not done yelling at this bird yet! This better be good!"
Inosuke gives the bird a dirty look as he follows Tanjiro inside.
"I'LL BE BACK!!!!!"
As Inosuke left the poor bird and followed Tanjiro he realized they were standing outside Zenitsu's room.
"Why are we here Gonpachiro? Is he finally going to fight me!?"
"No Inosuke. The thing I wanted to tell you is about him."
"Ohhhhh! Okay but why should I care?"
"You'll see."
Tanjiro knocked on the door and opened it. As he opened the door he noticed Zenitsu sitting up staring back at him and then at Inosuke.
"Good morning..."
He yawns as Inosuke walks in the room along with Tanjiro.
"Gonpachiro, why does Monitsu look different? He has different things in his eyes and his nails grew out! Not to mention he got little fangs! He looks like a cat!"
"A.... A CAT!!! I AM NOT A CAT! YOU STUPID PIG! Tanjiro did you not tell him?"
"I am not a stupid pig Monitsu! Also what didn't Gonpachiro tell me?"
All eyes on Tanjiro waiting for his answer.
"Well you see... Zenitsu might have been turned into a-"
Before he could finish his sentence Inosuke interrupted him.
"A CAT! HE'S A CAT!!!"
"IM NOT A CAT! FOR THE LAST TIME INOSUKE!!!!"
"Can... Can I please finish my sentence please?"
"Yes! Yes please! And Inosuke please don't interrupt him again please!"
"Okay! Great! What I was trying to say that Zenitsu... Got turned into a demon...?"
"No, I'm pretty sure he's a cat!"
"No Inosuke I'm pretty sure I'm a demon! And it sucks!"
Zenitsu turned his head to the side.
"Wait a minute! If you're a demon does that mean I'm supposed to kil-"
Before Inosuke could finish his sentence Tanjiro covered his mouth.
"No! No one is killing Zenitsu!"
"Don't get near me after saying that crap Inosuke!"
He shot Inosuke a dirty look.
"HE'S CHALLENGING ME!!! GONPACHIRO DID YOU SEE THAT!? THAT SMUG- UGGGGGG!!!"
"Anyways, I told you what I needed too. You can stay if you want I'm just going to be here asking Zenitsu a few things."
"I'd rather stay here thanks! That bird was weak anyways!"
Inosuke and Tanjiro sat next to Zenitsu.
