My Brother's Best Friends (Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 5

Maddie's POV:
I quickly texted Mikey. We have been best friends since we were little, but he was a year older than me.

Madzilla > Mike-ro-wave
Hey, Mikey! Do you wanna meet up at the park? I'm bored and Jade had a family emergency and couldn't make it. :(

I soon got a text back from him.

Mike-ro-wave >Madzilla
Hiya! Sure I can meet at the park. I hope everything is alright with Jade.

I quickly finished my drink and left. Soon I got to the park and found Michael waiting by the swings.

"Hey, do you remember when we would come here when we were little?" He asked me as I started getting on one of the swings.

"Yes, I do. Good times, good times! Haha! Hey! I bet I can swing higher than you can!" I yelled as I started swinging.

"Oh, your on Irwin!"

We both ended up falling. I fell and he landed on top of me. We were both laughing uncontrollably until he stopped and looked at me.

He started leaning towards me. Soon enough our faces were centimeters apart.

His eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips and back again. Oh no! I think he is going to kiss me!

Soon we are interrupted by Jade. Thank you Jade! I live Mikey, don't get me wrong, but I love him like a brother. He is always there to talk to. Him and Jade both. They are the bestest friends a girl could ever have!

"Hey, Mad- oh sorry am I interrupting something?" She started to smirk.

Michael and I both scrambled to get up. I dusted myself off and walked over to Jade and gave her a hug, as did Mikey.

Mikey's POV:
That was close! Why did I try to kiss her. I am so stupid.

"Um, hey girls, I- uh- I have to go home. My mom needs me to do something for her. I will text you guys later." Yes, two of my best friends were girls. They are awesome though. They are there when I need them.

I collected myself and got in my car and went to the place I could always go to make me happy. The beach.

Ashton's POV:
I knew this was eventually going to happen. I just hope he doesn't end up like her last boyfriend. He was a total jerk. All he did was sleep with other girls and lie to Maddie. She just didn't see it until it happened in from of her. And the bad thing was, it happened on her birthday.

"Sure. You can ask her out. Just don't hurt her because I don't wanna have to go to your house in the middle of the night and kill you. I'm just kidding, but seriously if you hurt her I will break your face! Got it?" He nodded.

"Good, now I need a little advice as well. There is this girl I like but she doesn't know that I like her. I wanna ask her on a date but I don't know where to take her."

"Take her to the movies or to the carnival. She might like that. Oh! You could take her for a picnic on the beach!" Luke's suggestions were good. I decided I would take her to the movies if she said yes to go with me.
