Chapter 14

I was sitting in my hospital bed and just thinking when song lyrics came to my head.

"Hey, Doc. Do you think you could find me a pen and a pad of paper. Please? I have lyrics in my head and I really need to write them down before I forget." I asked Dr. Williams.

Her and I have gotten closer in the time that I've spent in the hospital. I still don't remember Luke, I think his name was. I am planning on introducing Michael to Jenessa soon.

"Sure, Mads. I will hurry I promise." She chuckled.

A few minutes later she came back with a pen and a notebook for me.

"I have to get back to work Maddie. I will see you when I get off." She told me and smiled before walking out of the room.

I started to write and couldn't stop writing. (A/N all credit goes to Ed Sheeran for this song. This is not mine I do not own it.)

Almost as soon as I was done that Luke boy walked in and I immediately hid the notebook. The only person that knows that I write is Ashton and now Jennesa.

"Hey, Maddie. What are you hiding behind your back?" Luke asked me being quite curious.

"Oh nothing just a notebook. But it's personal and you can't see it."

"Why? I know pretty much everything about you. I know that you have a beautiful voice that you don't think is very good. You slightly snore when you sleep and when you are nervous you bite your lip and constantly blink. Like you are right now. I know that you write. It's ok. All of your friends do. Well your close friends." He says coming closer and sitting on the bed with me.

I sit up and pull the notebook from behind my back. I look at it then let him read it.

He smiles and takes it gladly. He starts reading and has this concentrated look on his face. The way he is biting his lip while reading this makes me want to kiss him right then and there. He finishes and smiled at me.

"This is really good. What is the title of it?" He asks me.

"I actually don't have one yet, but I was thinking Come Home or Photograph. But I'm so indecisive about it." I told him sheepishly.

"Well I like Photograph. I think you should name it that. It would be even better if it had music. When you get out of here we can figure out music and the. You could record it?" He suggested.

I guess I forgot to tell you. I got a call two days ago from Syco Records wanting me to sign a contract to make an album with them. I go into the studio a week after I get out of the hospital. Which by the way is tomorrow. The only bad thing about this is I have to fly to London to record my songs and I won't be back in Sydney for 6 months.

"Well Luke, about that. A week from tomorrow I fly out to Londonderry to record some songs for Syco Records to make my own album. And I won't be back in Sydney for a while." I look at him and his smile turns into a frown.

"That's great Maddie! How long will you be gone?" He asks still with a frown then giving me a fake smile.

"6 months" I say looking down with tears forming in my eyes.

I look up at him and he is just staring at me. We stare at each other for what seems like forever.

He slowly starts to lean in and so do I. I close my eyes as does he. I couldn't take it anymore. I smashed my lips to his plump pink ones.

Our lips moved in sync until something happened and I pulled away.

All the memories came flooding back. Our first date, when he asked me to be his girlfriend. Everything came back.

"LUKE! I remember!" I told him probably sounding like a maniac.

"Wh-what?! You remember?! So you remember us?" He said gesturing his hand in between us.

I nodded vigorously and hugged him so tight that he probably couldn't breathe.

I looked at him after letting go of him and kissed him. It wasn't like any other kiss. It was filled with passion and love.

"I love you Luke!" I told him and smiled.

"I love you too!" He said and I laughed and pulled him back in for a kiss.

If only we knew what Next week would bring.....
