My Brother's Best Friends (Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 4

Luke's POV:
I woke up with the thought of her on my mind. Gosh! Is it even possible to feel like this?

I got out of bed and took a shower. When I got done I grabbed a Nirvana t-shirt and some skinny jeans. I put on my converse and grabbed my beanie and my phone.

I was going to go talk to Maddie and Ash and see if they sorted things out. I was also going to ask Ash if I could take Madds on a date. Wow! Finally, I am manning up and growing a pair!

I soon got to the Irwin house. I knocked on the door and Maddie opened the door. She looked breathtakingly beautiful. Even though she was only in a pair of pj shorts and a tank, she looked so cute. Although, her hair, not so much. It was in all different directions.

"Is Ash home?" I asked. I was so nervous. I was hoping Ashton would say I could ask if she would go on a date with me.

"Yeah, he is still in his room, ASHTON GET YOUR ARSE UP! LUKE IS HERE TO SEE YOU!" She said the first part quietly seeing as she was still tired.

"Oh my god, Maddison! Could you be any louder?!" He seemed kinda mad. Oh, well.

Maddie's POV:
I was awoken by someone knocking on the door.
What the hell? Who knocks on MY door at this fricken early in the morning.

I get up and open the door. I am met by a pair of familiar beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair. Luke.

"Is Ash home?" He says eyeing me up and down. I suddenly realize what I am wearing and feel self conscious.Why did I have to where this? Crap!

"Yeah, he is still in his room, ASHTON GET YOUR ARSE DOWN HERE! LUKE IS HERE TO SEE YOU!" I yelled to Ashton. I was pretty sure he would hear me.

"Oh my god, Maddison! Could you be any louder?!" He seemed kinda peeved. Oh well. He does that to me all the time.

"I'm going back to my room, see ya!" I said fast and dashed to my room as fast as I could.

Once I got to my room I quickly changed and fixed my hair. I then laid on my bed and grabbed my phone and started texting Jade.

Madds> SFAM
Hey, chica! Whatcha doin today? I was thinking we could have a girls day before we graduate!!!
A few minutes later I got a text from her.
SFAM > Madds
Hiya, sista! I am doing absolutely nothing today. I would love to have a girls day! Where to?

I texted her saying we could meet at the park.

I had an urge to just sing. I thought of a song to sing. It had to be a fitting song.
I got it!

I grabbed my laptop and started strumming the first chords.
" Don't try to make me stay. Or ask if I'm ok.
I don't have an answer.
Don't make me stay the night or ask if I'm alright.
I don't have an answer.

I'll say I'm fine.
Midnight ain't no time for laughing
When you say goodbye" I sang the chorus and I got lost singing. It's like the world around me didn't exist. Soon I was to the last line.
"And your eyes, Irresistible"
Once I was done I uploaded it to YouTube and shut my laptop.

The last line is true. His eyes are truly Irresistible.
I put my guitar up and got ready to go to the park.
Soon I was ready and told the boys I was going to the park. I got there and Jade wasn't there. She texted me saying she had a family emergency and couldn't make it. So, I went to Starbucks and got me a coffee.

However, I didn't leave when I got it.

Luke's POV:
Ok now I can ask him. Here goes nothing.
"Ash, can I take your sister on a date?" It went silent. He soon opened his mouth to talk. What came out of his mouth is something I didn't expect.
