(I don't own any of these pictures. I just pull them from google images ^^; and I don't recognize them. But this is Midori's Bankai form!)

We walked for about 15 minutes, just far enough away from any listening ears. Dad got serious "How did your training go, Midori?" I look up at the clear, starry sky. Shoving my hands in my pockets. "Long. I wish I was able to come home much sooner. But I was able to control my Bankai."

Dad nods his head, letting me know that he's still listening. I sigh loudly "Crevan was defiantly not one to negotiate with....it took me nearly three years to convince him to lend me more power so that I can learn bankai. I was able to convince him by battling him at full power and winning. But that certainly wasn't easy for me...."

"I still don't think you deserve my power" I stopped walking and glanced behind me. "I didn't agree for you to appear in front of my father."

A large white fox sat behind me. His eyes, red like blood, starring directly into my soul. Those very eyes, I used to fear. They used to make my blood run cold, I could not move when I was under his stare. But now things are different, I no longer fear the ghost warrior. Defeating him, we earned respect for each other.

He scoffs "I don't need your spirit energy to appear whenever I want, stupid girl." Dad walks past me and towards Crevan. "It's been a long time....Isshin..." Crevan bowed his head in respect. "I can say the same towards you Crevan. Thank you for taking care of Midori these last six years." He scoffs "Like I had much of a choice...."

I clench my fists and stomp towards him, trying to size him up but his fox form was not small. Sitting up straight, his form was 5'8, same height as me. I made direct eye contact with him "I defeated you in battle! Fair and square! When are you going to respect me as an individual!"

"When you die as a warrior!" His voice boomed, causing me to take a step back which encouraged him to take a threatening step forward.

"If it wasn't for your mother, praying for a miracle to save her sick and helpless daughter, I would have let you die!"

I looked down. He was right though. I was never healthy as a young child. I spent the majority of my childhood at the hospital. It was always one issue after another. First, I was born with a bad heart, then a lung was collapsing, I needed a kidney, it was non stop. One surgery after another. My last surgery, which was to remove a tumor from my heart, put me in a comma. The last thing I remember is hearing mom's voice "Please...save my baby" I don't know how long it took me to wake up, but when I did, dad was there holding my hand and crying. That's when I found out mom was killed, I missed her funeral, and a power within me woke up.

Dad glanced at me and then glared at Crevan "As much as I appreciate you saving my daughter. You did not need to take it that far Crevan." Crevan scoffed and looked away "Masaki believed in miracles. And you came to answer, saving Midori for us. Now I know you may be stubborn but you answered the call when you didn't have to!"

Crevan starred at my dad in shock and so did I. He started to fade away "Consider yourself lucky, Midori. To have family that cares for you...." He completely disappeared, leaving me and dad alone on the street.

Dad cleared his throat "Crevan Kheelan, one of the oldest souls out there. Lost his entire family at a young age. Became a forger in his teens and then was sold to the military at the time to fight. For a spirit that carries so much hate on his shoulders, he sure the hell has a soft spot for you." I roll my eyes at dad "Soft spot....if that's what you want to call it"

Dad placed his hand on my shoulder, I look up at him and he smiles softly. "If you follow this street just a little more, you'll come across Urahara's shop. Ichigo will be there." I hug dad tightly and saying thanks before walking away.

"One more thing, Midori" I glance behind, looking at him.

"Ichigo....is a soul reaper."
