Chapter Twenty

**Szayel POV**

I sat in my chair, staring at the screen closely. 'What is this child exactly...I would like to experiment on it...' On the screen, was the unborn child. "It's only been 12 hours since she was brought to Hueco Mundo and the child has grown by one week. Now making it 16 weeks."

I glance down at one of my fraccions, realizing he wasn't taking notes. This pissed me off.

-SLAP-

I glare down at my fraccion "Why aren't you taking notes while I am talking?!" The small fraccion scrambles to get up while holding its cheek. He hobbles towards the computer and immediately starts typing down quickly. Once he was done, he turned around and confirmed that he was ready to take more notes.

I clear my throat "Gin Ichimaru's intel informed us that Midori Kurosaki was 9 weeks pregnant. Upon arrival to Hueco Mundo, five hours after her appointment, the fetus grew exponentially. Specifically 6 weeks. Twelve hours after her arrival, the fetus grew, now making her 16 weeks pregnant."

I place my thumb against my lip and gently bite it. "Calculations have not been figured out currently and when she will give birth. Patient is still in a comma. I will be giving her a serum to encourage her to wake up."

I stared at the screen and then slowly closed my eyes 'Experimenting on this child will not be wise if Lord Aizen is so interested in it. But I will heavily observe this child.'

**Kisuke's POV**

I jolt out of bed, Tessai slid my door open roughly. "Ms. Kurosaki-"

"I know. Her spiritual pressure completely vanished in thin air." I get up out of bed and reach for my hat.

"We will be expecting guests very soon Tessai. Please prepare some-" Tessai was knocked over, a frantic looking Ikkaku stared me down. A wild look in his eyes.

"Gin! That fucking snake took Midori!" 

I glare at the ground 'What does Aizen want with Midori? He doesn't know about her pregnancy....or the child....does he?'

I look up at Ikkaku, his eyes glossed over as if he's about to cry. "I failed her and our unborn child....." He mumbled out and fell to his knees. 

I walk over to him, kneeling down and placing my hand on his shoulder. "We'll save her, with or without the help of the Soul Society."

**Midori's POV Comma**

A sudden pain jolted throughout my body. 'What is going on?!' I felt something warm slide down my cheek. 'Am I crying?'

It hurts so much. 

Ba-dum ba-dum

I can hear my heart beating

ba-dum ba-dum ba-dum

It hurts so much and it's beating fast.

ba-dum...

Why does it hurt....?

**Szayel's POV**

I pushed my fraccions out of the way. Heading towards the one who injected her with the serum. I snatched her collar and brought her close to my face. 

"You fool!!! We're loosing her!!" I yell, throwing the female fraccion towards the group of fraccions. I rush towards my desk and grab another syringe. 

"These bastards are going to get me killed by Lord Aizen if I can't bring her back!" I prepare the needle, push her head to the side but before I could inject her, Lord Aizen and Gin's spiritual pressures were directly behind me.

"Don't do anything yet, Szayel" I freeze. Will I be punished for this? What are we waiting for?

I glance behind, Lord Aizen and Gin were focusing on this girl. 'What are they waiting f-'

A sudden spiritual pressure could be felt but it wasn't the girls. As the spiritual pressure grew, I fell to my knees, not being able to handle it. 

"T-this cannot be f-from t-the child!" I look behind and notice that Gin was struggling to hold his composure. I also noticed my fellow Espada at the doorway but they were also on their knees.

A dark glow appeared in the corner of my eye, bringing my attention back to the girl. Her entire body was surrounded by a black energy. The energy was intense and what concerned me the most was that it felt deadly and already smelled of blood. 

I heard a quiet beeping noise, I look over towards the heart monitor and her heart was beating once again.

'Did this baby....no....monster save her?'

The energy was dying down, it slowly disappeared and I was able to breath normally again. I stood up slowly and glared at Lord Aizen.

"What is she?!" I demanded to know answers and so did my fellow Espada who slowly entered the room now. 

"I will be calling a meeting soon. We will discuss this over some tea."
