Outgoing call to
Petunia 🌸[End Call]
"Hello?"
"Morning petunia. Were you asleep?"
"Yeah but I'm up now."
"How was school."
"How is school you mean?"
"Yeah same thing."
"Whatever you say. Anyways it's ok. Now everyone's trying to figure out who my girlfriend is."
"Are they doing a good job at it?"
"Nah they're terrible."
"Oop-"
"Yeah they think it's Sabrina's best friend or something."
"LMAO. They wish."
"Anyways. How are your parents?"
"I can confidently say; they're happier since when I last saw them."
"That's good."
"Mhm."
[For the next minute or so the two sat in comfortable silence. Soon the sound of their breathing became like lullabies to them, putting each other at rest. And just like that even their hearts started beating in sync. Maybe they were meant to be.]
"Hey River."
"Yea?"
"What're you doing Sunday afternoon?"
"Nothing at the top of my head, why?"
"Reserve that time for me. I'll text you Sunday morning."
"Uh.. ok."
"Trust me. Please."
"I do."
"Thank you Sunflower."
"Anything for you Petunia."
[As if on cue the bell rang signalling them to end the call so they followed the signal.]
"I'll talk to you later Dove. Bye."
"Bye River. Study well."
"No promises."
"Way to let a girl down Riv."
"Fine. Just for you. Bye."
"Bye sunflower."
