Dr. Lincoln

CHEYENNE'S POINT OF VIEW
I nervously tapped my hands on my thighs as I sat in the uncomfortable waiting room chair.
For the past couple days, I've felt like shit, for lack of a better word. I felt nauseous a lot and I barely had an appetite. I tried my best to hide it from Vincent in fear of worrying him. I knew how protective he was; I didn't want to worry him until I knew exactly what was going on.
I was at Dr. Lincoln's office. I heard about Dr. Lincoln from Jade. She told me that he was the best doctor the insurance we got from work could afford. She said he was fantastic at what he does, so I thought I'd book an appointment to see why I felt so badly.
I had a feeling that I knew why I was feeling this way, but I didn't want to believe it.
Sexually, I may not have been the most experienced person, but I knew enough to know that if a man ejaculates in you, there's a high possibility you can become pregnant. It wasn't sex, but when Adrian did what he did to me, he did make a point to leave me with a physical reminder of what happened.
I was horrified after pondering the thought that I might be pregnant after what Adrian did.
The entire time I was waiting for my name to be called, I prayed and hoped for anything to happen so that I wouldn't be pregnant with Adrian's baby.
"Cheyenne Copeland?" The sound of a nurse shouting my name into the empty waiting room scared me out of my thoughts.
I looked up and walked over to the lady who called my name.
"Dr. Lincoln is ready for you. You'll be in Room 8," she told me. She motioned for me to follow her to where the room was.
When we approached the room, she let me in and went over procedures, such as asking me general questions and taking my vitals. She bid me goodbye after a few minutes.
"The doctor will be here soon," she smiled at me before shutting the door behind her when she left.
My nerves ate at me as I waited for Dr. Lincoln to show up. I had never met this man before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. He came highly regarded by Jade; he had that going for him.
A gentle knock against the door caught my attention. "Knock knock," I heard a man's voice before a tall man in a white doctor's coat came through the door frame. He shut the door once he was in the room with me.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Lincoln," he introduced himself, "you're... Cheyenne? Correct?" He asked. I nodded simply.
He looked like he knew what he was doing, I thought to myself. I assumed he had years of expertise given the full head of grey hair he had atop his hair. He was obviously older, maybe close to his late 50s. He was very pale with dark blue eyes. I noticed he had a crooked smile that I found endearing. It reminded me of my dad's smile. Outwardly, he seemed friendly.
"Alrighty," he said to himself as he looked over papers that sat on the countertop. I was so in my head about everything that I had failed to notice them. "Let's see what we got here," he smiled softly.
He grabbed the rolling chair the nurse sat on and pulled it over to where I sat. Once he was situated in front of me, he began speaking.
"So, Cheyenne," he started, "what can I help you with today?" He asked before crossing his arms.
