Odd Squad One Shots

Where in the world have I been, you ask? Here's an update, I answer!

Sooo, hi everyone!

This book has gotten a lot more readers than I could have ever expected, so thanks for that! People are still commenting and suggesting things, so I feel bad that I haven't written anything in about three years. It would probably suck if this was one of those books that just went on without updates because, how frustrating is it to read a good story, only to be met with "last updated [ A WHILE AGO ]"? You all know what I mean.

I'm not quite sure if I'd like to continue, if I'm being honest. First of all, although my grammar has improved, my writing skills have really lost some of their shine. I mean, my writing wasn't that good before anyway, but it's definitely not good now. I haven't written in a while! Even when I do write fanfic for myself only, it's definitely lacking some descriptive language.

Second, I haven't seen the show in a while either. This doesn't mean I dislike it or grew out of it — believe me, I'm certainly not the type to outgrow things — but I just got interested in other things and kind of forgot about it after the season 2 finale. I will try to get caught up eventually with season 3, but I would also need to rewatch some parts of season 2 to get a feel for the characters again.

And finally, I'm not sure if it's exactly appropriate for me to write Odd Squad fanfic anymore. I mean, I have never made anything inappropriate about Odd Squad and I definitely never will, but most one-shots tend to revolve around pairings. It might have been OK back when I wrote this, because I was maybe 13 or 14, but I am 16 now! It just seems a little weird. But, I'd like your input anyway. If it was an original story, I think I'd be fine, but it's fanfiction. That's what makes it potentially weird.

For all of you who requested stuff that I never got around to, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, I must admit that I probably never will write them. And, if I'm being honest, it is partially because the prompts weren't all that unique, and I wanted to avoid cliches. Of course, I could introduce some other component in the story to make it less typical, but I'm afraid that wouldn't be what you asked for. Well... that, and the fact that I'm not so good at writing anymore, lol.

Thank you all for your support! In conclusion, who knows if I'll continue this? Maybe. It depends on what you guys think, and whether I improve my writing. If I get the inspiration for it, I would love to write again. Until then, keep on keepin' odd!
