"Where are we ?", I said while scanning the room. The man went to a switch and flicked it. A small bulb from above our heads illuminate in the room. I saw a few mops in a bucket, some liquid soap, some plastic bags and a box of dirty rags under the dim light. He stood up and walked to the back of the room. "Where are you going ?", my eyes trailed his figure. He ignored my question and went on walking. I stomped my foot on the hard ground. He glared at me. I raised my eyebrows at him. He ignored me again, so I decided to follow him. "What are you doing ?!" I asked. I assumed we had walk really far because the room was getting darker and darker. "I'm searching for another way out." He replied while checking out some of the bottles on the shelf. "Whoa ! He speaks !" I said while making a shock face. "You know, the store is going to close at any minute. Let's just get out of here." I continued. He ignored me AGAIN, but that didn't mean that I would shut my mouth until we get out of this eery place.
Suddenly, he held my shoulders and stared at me. "Can you please shut up, okay ?" I nodded slowly. "Good.", he said under his breath. After for awhile, he gave up. "No more exit." He put his hands on his hip. "Oh really ?" I asked with a sarcastic tone. He rolled his eyes and we went back to the door. He twisted the doorknob but the door didn't open. He tried it again but failed miserably. My eyes widened. "Please don't say we're locked in here." He pursed his lips while looking at the ceiling. "We're locked." I confirmed it again. I sighed and sat on the floor. I looked at him; I could see his face was full of guilt. He sat on the floor opposite to me. Awkward silence started to fill in the room. A few minutes after, the light in the mart was closed, only left us with the dim light. "What time does this mart open ?", I asked. "10 am." He replied with a simple answer. "That means we're stuck in here for eleven hours." He continued, looking at his watch. "My phone's dead." He said. "Mine too." I said back at him.
