In the land of the witches, right on top of a hidden hill, lived witches of all kind. There stood a very large and very old castle. Vines crept on its dusty brick walls, crows would chirp on the hedges, and in the castle, there lived a Queen of the witches. But we won't focus on the land's description, we will focus on three girls that always wondered what was it like in the outside world.

One of my friends was Amanda. She was the oldest in the friend group. She had red, silky straight hair with bright, blue eyes. She was rather pale and had an average weight. She's mostly quiet and the peacekeeper in the group.

Next is Lorra, she was the middle-aged one in the group and had a brown skin tone. Her hair was as white as snow and wavy like the ocean. She had eyes as brown as the bark of a tree. She had bright freckles and was rather skinny. She was the introverted one in the friend group.

And finally, Gothel. She was the youngest in the group and had hair as black as ink and was very curly. She has an average weight and had bright, green eyes. She's the bookworm in the group and loves learning something new. She always believed in magic and wanted to learn it.

One day, they were exploring the dead woods as usual. They loved the ancient graves and the symbols written on it. Gothel would bring a book on her journey, while the other two would bring decors to hang on the branches of the dead trees. Gothel sat on a log, while the others were decorating the trees.

"Hey, Gothel! How is this decor?" Amanda called out. Gothel turned around and saw Amanda holding a piece of red parchment while there were red parchment hearts hanging around the branches. "It's pretty good, Amanda," Gothel answered, bringing her attention back to her book.

"Why do you sound so sad, Gothel?" Amanda laid her hand on Gothel's shoulder. Gothel looked at her, closing the book. "I'm just tired of a mother keeping us in this land. She never lets us explore the outside world." Gothel said, picking up a dead autumn leaf and shredding it to pieces. Amanda sighed.

"You know it's just for our own good. Who knows? Maybe she'll let us out next year, or the year after that." Amanda stood up. Gothel couldn't possibly wait that long, could she?

"You know I can't wait a whole year or two just for a mother to decide to let us out. We've been stuck here our whole lives, Amanda! We are almost eighteen, the legal adult age."

Amanda sighed again. "You have me and Lorra. How about let's just forget about the outside world and I'll make you dinner?" Gothel nodded and the three of them went back to the castle.
