Rodeo Queen

Chapter 3

this chapter is gonna start right where chapter 2 ended. Also this might not have alanah in it until the end.

Alanah was quick on her answer earning a slap on the shoulder from Tuf, "no I dont but by the accent means your not from here and im kinda busy so maybe if you wait here some buckle bunny would love to get to know you. Now I have to go do my race unless you'd like me to not earn my pay check. Good bye"

And with that the announcers were calling her name to get in the ally. 

Chloe and Skye took the time to ask Harry why he was looking for Alanah since they had some time before Alanah actually got back.

"Well I uh heard what happened with her and Eleanor and I wanted to see if she was okay." harry said looking at his feet. 

Chloe looked at him confused "How did you even know who she was and where to find her? Its not like shes a fan of the band."

"Well I um i'm a fan of her actually. The band has been here since the day 1 of the rodeo because we've never been to anything like this. And we watched her run the first night and shes really good. So I looked up some of her other runs and when I saw the video of her and Eleanor I knew it was her." Harry explained 

This time Skye chimed in "Okay but that doesn't explain why your here to check on her. No offense but Alanah isn't the type to be bothered right before a run especially by someone who gets her thrown off her horse."

Harry looked shocked at that comment "What do you mean she got thrown off and how was it my fault?"

"Because you didnt really try to disguise yourself so im assuming the screams that spooked Flo were caused by you." Chloe said rudely. 

Harry never meant to make the horse spook but it was kind of his fault since he was easy to recognize. But he wasn't going to admit that he felt bad about it because this Chloe girl was rude about it. He just hoped that he didn't mess up Alanahs run but he would never admit that. 

The 3 of them continued to talk about nothing really until finally Alanah came back from cooling Flo down and putting her back in her stall. She was shocked to see Harry still there, and even more confused as to how Chloe hadn't scared him off. 

"Hey guys! did yall even watch me run?" Alanah asked before rolling her eyes at Chloe and Skye. 

"Yes, actually we did! 13.5 isn't that bad but I don't know the times of the other girls" Harry blurted out, kind of embarrassed at what he said 

"Wait you actually know about what I do? The rockstar life getting to boring for ya?" Alanah said with much sarcasm.

This time it was Skye that spoke up, "Yes La he is actually a fan of yours and that's why he's here. He wanted to watch you run up close than in the seats. So be nice!"

Alanah didn't say anything. She just walked off with out so much as a glance towards the group or the people around her. She was to lost in her own thoughts to really care about anything else. How could Harry actually be a fan of hers, hell he probably didn't mean it.

AUTHORS NOTE: I hate being mean to Harry but i promise it'll stop. Don't really know when. The next chapter will be the concert and maybe even another fight ?
