Rodeo Queen

Chapter 11

After Harry and Alanah went to check on Flo it was time to start the meet and greets with the rodeo fans. Alanah was nervous because this was her first professional meet and greet this big. It made it worse that the boys, including Louis, were going to be there.

Walking into the arena the group met up with Skye and Tuff and decided to hang out as a group and walk around together. Harry and Louis were right by Alanahs side to make sure nothing was said about the fight with Eleanor.

"Ok Alanah let's do this. I know you're nervous but just remember that people think you're a miracle because of what happened. Use that as an advantage to get sympathy." Chloe suggested.

Alanah rolled her eyes, "Yeah thanks I will definitely use my rodeo accident to gain sympathy. Plus half the questions are going to be about Harry and the band."

It wasn't long until a group of girls came up to Alanah and Tuf to get them to sign their shirts and hats.

"Alanah I just think your amazing coming back so quickly after what happened to your neck! And I know that the fight wasn't your fault you are definitely not like that. And a lot of your fans know that too especially because the video was taken after she hit you." said one of the girls.

Alanah smiled, "Well thank you and i'm glad that my fans are behind me but I have nothing to say about that girl but I did hear a rumor that because of what happened her and her boyfriend broke up. But you didn't hear it from me."

Another girl chimed in, "Wait how do you know that? Eleanor and Louis wouldn't break up just because of a fight, especially with someone like you."

Confused Alanah replied "Someone like me? I mean I get that I am basically a nobody compared to her and Lou but that doesn't give someone the right to cause a fight. It also started because she slapped me first because I spilt my fries on her."

"You're right, you are a nobody. And did you call him Lou? You're not even a fan of the band so don't call him that." the girl snapped back.

Alanah smirked and said, "You are correct I am not a fan of the band but I AM friends with them."

"There is no possible way they would be friends with you."

Alanah turned around to the crowd that was surrounding Tuf, the girls, and the band, "Hey guys yall wanna come over here? I need the help."

The boys and Chloe excused themselves from Tuf and Skye to make their way to Alanah.
"Sure La what's up?" Harry smiled.

"Well curls this lovely young lady didn't believe that we were friends because i'm not a fan of yalls. Would you like to inform her?" Alanah smiled back.

Not giving anyone the chance to say anything Louis spoke up, "Oh I will! See what happened was Lala was getting ready for her run yesterday and decided to get some food when the fight happened. Harry here decided to go see her before her run because he is actually a fan of hers. But long story short I broke up with Eleanor because she went after Lanah 3 times last night for absolutely no reason. The lads took Alanah back to the hotel and boom now we're all friends. Does that answer your question?"

"Uhm yeah, i'm sorry Alanah I didn't mean to disrespect you." the girl said as they walked away.

"So how exactly did last night get brought up?" Chloe questioned.

"One of the girls was a fan of yours. And basically called me a nobody when I was talking to my fan about what happened. I guess because I called you Lou and not Louis she got mad. But oh well let's meet more people." Alanah said skipping away.

The meet and greet lasted about 2 hours and ended just in time for Alanah to get ready for her run. This meant the boys would be coming to her trailer while she got ready. When they got to the trailers they said bye to Tuf and Skye, since Tuf had to get ready too.

Alanah was nervous that the boys would be watching her run. Other than yesterday with Harry she's never had people besides Chloe watch her from the gate. While Alanah was changing into her next outfit Harry was busy texting her questions about her tack.

CURLS: Why do some girls wear helmets and some wear hats?

ALANAH: Because curls I wear one because of my neck injury I would rather it not be worse than it was. Anything else?"

CURLS: Why is it called a saddle?

ALANAH: Honestly I don't know the answer to that you're on your phone look it up and then actually come talk to me.

A few minutes later the door to the trailer opened and Harry walked in.

"I couldn't find the answer but Chloe said you need to go outside for your make-up. Why?" Harry continued with his questions.

Alanah shook her head but answered "Well don't you have a lot of questions today. And Chloe likes to use the natural light from the sun to see what she's doing. I don't really know."

While Alanah was getting her hair and make-up done the boys were busy brushing and giving carrots to Flo. Alanah didn't really mind because Harry went all the way to the stall and back with Skye to get Flo so Alanah didn't have to. It was a really sweet gesture according to Chloe.

I actually brought my laptop to work so im able to write a little bit before i have to clock back in. Im working on the next chapter now. Be prepared...
