Chapter 13

Don't hate me I wanted a fun plot twist :D But anyway sorry

At the hospital only Chloe was able to actually talk to the doctor because she was Alanahs emergency contact. So the boys were stuck in the waiting room talking to Paul and Simon, well Harry was.

Simon: Harry what is going on because all Liam said was the girl that Eleanor got into multiple fights with was hurt.

Harry: She was in the middle of her race and her horse started acting up and then they landed and she is in a coma. We're waiting for her friend Chloe to come back to find out the results.

Simon: Okay Harry just keep us updated and if you lads need to push back the recordings for the next album I can see if a studio in Houston is willing to house you. But nothing is positive yet. Let me make a few calls and let you know.

Harry: Wow thanks Simon i'll let the rest of the boys know. I'm sure they'll be excited.

Call ended.

Harry looked at the boys ready to tell them the news when Chloe came back.

"Okay so update. Everything came back clear on the test besides the coma. But her neck and legs are fine and she should have full mobility back. They just don't know exactly when she'll wake up. Apparently, when Flo went up Alanah slipped down and hit her head on the saddle horn, the thing in the middle of the saddle that she holds on to, and when they landed she got hit with the saddle. Thankfully she was wearing her helmet because if not she wouldn't be alive." Chloe said looking at Harry.

The boys were excited that she would be able to ride again but they were just waiting for her to wake up.

"Oh and the doctors said yall can go in one at a time to see her." Chloe said.

"I'll go first. What room?" Harry answered.

"I expected that. And go down the hall and on the door is a ribbon from one of her races." Chloe laughed.

Harry made his way to the room Alanah was in. He was expecting a little ribbon hanging on the doorknob, not a giant ribbon with dead flowers around it. Taking a second to admire it, he saw that it was a first place from the same year she had her neck injury. Shaking his head to hide the chuckle he walked into her room. It took him by surprise seeing her lying there attached to wires and quiet. That was something Harry never expected, it was quiet no laughing or talking coming from Alanah. He grabbed the chair from across the room and sat it next to her bed and took her hand in his.

"Alanah Nicole, you are such an idiot," he started out whispering but got a little louder. "I know if I ever called you that you said you would kill me. But I don't understand how this could happen. I thought you knew Flo better than you know yourself. I'm not mad, I'm just scared. They said you don't have any injuries besides a broken leg and you should be fine. The only problem is your coma. They don't know when you'll come out of it. I don't know if you can actually hear me but i'm really scared. I watched the whole thing happen and when you and Flo hit the ground was the scariest thing to have witnessed, then when I ran to you I noticed you weren't moving. You didn't even scream as you two fell. When did you go into a coma? Did you knock yourself out with the saddle horn? Did you feel any pain? I have so many questions and you're the only one who can answer them."

What he didn't know was that yes Alanah could hear him she just couldn't answer back.

Thanks for using my full name and your right I will kill you. But I honestly don't know what happened. One minute she was fine and then the next all I see is blackness. Well atleast its just a broken leg and a coma it could be worse curls calm down. I'm sorry you had to see everything. I hit the saddle horn? I don't remember that so i'm guessing that's I did knock myself out. And obviously I didn't feel my leg break I WAS IN A COMA you curly haired idiot! And I wish I could answer them or give you a sign that I can hear you.

After a few minutes Harry left and the rest of the boys came in and said how sorry they were and they will do their best to take care of Flo so Chloe and Harry could be here when she wakes up.

Harry decided to text his mom to let her and Gemma know what was going on.

To mum and Gem : Update on La. She doesn't have any serious injuries just a broken leg and is still in the coma. I'll text you if she wakes up.

He got on twitter to see that everyone was asking for an update but he decided to ignore it and go back to waiting for her to wake up.

Chloe was off talking to the doctors again trying to figure out a way to get her out of the coma. Their best option was to continue doing CT's every couple of hours to check the brain activity. Harry decided to go back and talk to Alanah.

"Hey La its me again. The doctors said they still don't know what is going on in that pretty little head of yours so if you could please come out of the coma that would be great."

Wow yeah let me just wake up thank you curls you should become a doctor and you think im pretty ? Well damn why can't I be awake.

Knowing that Alanah was in good hands the boys and Chloe decided to go to their hotel which was conveniently down the street to take showers and get changed into different clothes. They each packed a bag to keep in Alanahs truck because they were going to be taking shifts to make sure someone is by her side if and when she wakes up.

Holy shit 3 updates in a day! Who am I? But i have to go back to work so i'll write the next chapter when i get home .
