Chapter 9

Hey sorry for not updating until late. I was working on stuff for my classroom halloween party next week ! Anyway lets get goin.

Alanah, Chloe, and Harry were soon ushered into the arena so that Alanah could do her press interviews. No one said much about Harry being with the cowboys and cowgirls because security was to busy to containing the crowd waiting for interviews to start. It wasn't until it was Alanah's turn to answer questions that the events from yesterday and her past were brought up.

Reporter(R): So Alanah what a great season you've been having so far. Were you expecting this much of a reaction after what happened?

A: Thank you. And um no actually it came as a shock my first real rodeo back to see everyone supporting me as much as they did.

R: Well at least you were able to come back as strong as you did and where you're standing after last night your a qualifier for NFR. How does that feel knowing your first year back and going to Vegas in December?

A: I actually didn't know my standings. I don't really pay attention to the numbers. And i'm pretty excited i've only been a visitor to NFR with Skye and Tuff so it'll be fun to actually compete and fingers crossed do well.

R: Now onto a video going around of you and someone named Eleanor from yesterday. What happened because it's not like you to get into a fight.

A: Oh that. It was a misunderstanding on her part. But I don't know if i'm allowed to comment on the situation because of her status in society. Just know I did try and apologize but not everyone can be treated with kindness. However, I would rather not comment anymore because I do have younger girls that look up to me as a role model and I don't want them to think i'm always like that.

R: Fair enough. Speaking of your younger audience, are you excited to be getting the chance to walk around and meet some of them today.

A: Yes! I'm very excited to get to meet and talk to them. I do know a few people that i've talked to on social media are here today, so that will be fun to get to meet them in person.

R: Well one last question that alot of the viewers would like to know. Are you and Harry Styles dating?

A: No, we are not. We just met in person yesterday when he came to the warm up pens. Turns out while i'm not a big fan of his band, he's a big fan of mine. So it was nice to get to talk to him about what I do. But no we are not dating sorry.

R: Well at least yall are friends. That's all time we have today with Alanah. Good luck on your run tonight.

And with that Alanah's interview was wrapped up and she was back making her way back to Harry and Chloe to see the rest of the boys minus Louis there to watch her.

"Wow Lala you did really good dodging every question that wasn't rodeo related. Also you didn't know about NFR qualifications? I texted you last night to update you in case this was brought up." Chloe said laughing.

"Yeah why did you dodge the fight question and the one about Harry?" Zayn questioned.

Alanah was quick to reply, "because like I said in the interview I have alot of younger girls that look up to me and I dont want them seeing me like that. And I didn't dodge the question about Harry I answered with the truth we are just friends." under her breath she said "for now but who knows."

"Well I think you did wonderful answering the questions but what did she mean by what happened?" Harry whispered.

"Can we talk about it later just the two of us?" Alanah whispered back.

"Yeah we can, do you want to grab lunch with everyone? Chloe's been asking to hang out with the band." Harry laughed.

"Sure, that sounds fun! But Chloe is a big fan of yalls so be prepared." Alanah said skipping away.
