CHAPTER 14

*Time skip 4 days*

Alanah still hasn't woken up but there's still brain activity so there wasn't much the doctors could do besides wait. This meant the boys and Chloe had to wait to. Every day Harry had been talking to her about stuff that has been going on with the rodeo and with how Flo was doing.

"Hey La, I miss you like crazy. It's been four days but not being able to hear you talk or laugh it's driving me insane. Please can you wake up soon. I know that you can't really control it but if you could give me a sign that you can even hear me that would be lovely. Flo is doing good. I think she just misses you. I don't know if horses can get PTSD but maybe she does because she just walks along the fence waiting for you. When we pull up in your truck she gets really excited until she doesn't see you and just keeps pacing. Can you tell me if that's normal because I don't know anything about horses other than what Tuf is teaching." Harry said hoping Alanah would magically open her eyes.

Hey curls. I miss you too. And has it really been that long? It feels like a few hours. And you really miss me that much that not hearing me talk drives you insane. I wish I could give you a sign because I am listening, everyday to everyone and not replying is killing me. Honestly, she probably does have PTSD because of what happened last time. Tuf is giving you pointers? Man that means he likes you, he doesn't help anyone ever. Also YALL ARE DRIVING MY TRUCK? YALL BETTER BE PUTTING GAS IN IT! IF I WAKE UP AND MY TANK IS EMPTY IM COMING AFTER SOMEONE! But maybe if I put all my focus I can squeeze your hand even just slightly. I hope this works I just want to wake up.

With all Alanah had she squeezed Harry's hand just a little bit, but it was enough for Harry to notice he got up and ran out of the room.

"Guys she squeezed my hand. I'm not kidding. I was talking to her telling her to give me a sign she could hear us and a few minutes later she squeezed my hand. Where's the doctor?" Harry practically shouted.

"I don't know, let me go find her." Chloe said walking away.

After a few minutes Chloe came back with Dr.Bailey so Harry could tell her what happened.

Harry explained what happened to Dr.Bailey and they went into Alanah's room to see if she would do it again.

"La its me again but im with Dr.Bailey we need you to squeeze my hand again love. Please" Harry said to her.

After a few minutes Alanah's fingers softly gripped Harry's. Dr.Bailey immediately called for another head CT and wheeled Alanah out of the room leaving Harry standing there. He went back to tell the rest of the group what was going on.

"That's a good thing mate. Maybe she'll wake up soon." Zayn said, putting his hand on Harry's back.

About 30 minutes later Dr.Bailey was updating the group about the recent test results.

"We do notice more brain activity than before, which is a good sign. It means her body is starting to recover and she should be waking up soon, we still don't know an exact answer. But thank you Harry for telling us and having her show us again." Dr.Bailey said with a smile.

Everyone was excited and shared a group hug that Alanah would be awake soon, the tricky part was when. They all decided to go get some lunch because no one has really eaten because the cafeteria food kind of sucks.

As the 6 friends were walking out Skye and Tuf were walking in to check up on Alanah. They all smiled and said hi as they got in Alanahs truck driving to a place called Whataburger. The group got their food and went back to sit in the waiting room to eat just incase Alanah woke up.
