I can still feel the wind on my face and the sun on my skin as I swayed, side to side. The calming motions slowly sending me into a peaceful sleep. I did not dream of anything that afternoon, I was already in a dream. I woke to the harsh blowing of the wind and the feeling of rain against my skin. I hear a loud clash behind me, as I see the remains of the lightning that came before. Another streak of lightning stretches across the sky, illuminating everything, followed by the familiar crackle and boom of thunder. It is getting closer. I get out of my peaceful lounge provided by the hammock. As I gather my things another round goes off, crash, boom! I get into my car and think, what a great day at the beach, and I leave.
