The pack cheered with might and determination as Cole led us through the forest. I could feel the fear rising up inside me with each step I took.

I tried to act cool and if everything was alright, but on the inside I was dying. The guilt was weighing on my shoulders and I felt terrible for it. It was all my fault if some-one was to get hurt or worse.die.

I shuddered at the thought and kept my focus ahead. I could feel Cole’s eyes on me but I refused to look at him, scared that I would burst out crying with the worry in losing him.

We came to a large clearing which I soon remembered as my Aunt’s garden and a took a nervous step into it.

The lights were on in the small house in the distance which meant she was home. Cole took my hand in reassurance but I couldn’t bring myself to smile up at his hidden sorrow eyes.

“Alpha,” Tyler came up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. Cole looked down at him as Tyler looked longingly at the house.

“Tyler,” Cole said back and Tyler tore his eyes off the house.

“I suggest we make a plan,” He said and Cole raised a questioning eye brow.

“Plan?” Cole asked curious and Tyler nodded his head stiffly.

“Alpha, the women doesn’t know that the Luna knows her secrets, maybe if we send her in,” Tyler was cut off by Cole’s low growl.

He tighten our linked hands and glared at Tyler. “Cole listen to him,” I told him and Cole looked at me and then back at Tyler.

He sighed “And what happens if the whole group is in there?” He asked doubting his plan.

“Then we go in there and attack them,” He told him simply and I felt Cole tense.

“Tyler’s right, I can look after myself,” I said putting in my input.

“Alpha, if we sneak in the house, then we can be ready to protect Ashleya,” Tyler said and I nodded, hoping that we didn’t need to fight and that they can just leave us alone, but it was doubtful.

“And if something goes wrong?” Cole asked through clenched teeth. Tyler tried to hide his fear and stand his ground but it was hard when you could feel the Alpha power surging off of Cole.

“Then, I’m out of there,” I told him saving Tyler from the beating he would get if he word his answer wrong.

Cole looked down at me with a unknown expression and studied me. We stayed like that for what seemed forever, Cole searching my eyes for something.

He must of found it when I heard him sigh. “Ok,” He said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and crashed his lips forcefully on mine.

I took no hesitation in kissing him back, my heart thudding in my chest. He pulled away all to soon and I felt myself not wanting to go in the house, I just wanted to stay here, in his arms.

“Make this torture over soon,” He murmured and let me go. I looked over to the pack, meeting Casey’s worried eyes for a split second before taking a deep breath and walked towards the house.

I reached the door and took one last look at them. To my surprise they weren’t there, but then I remembered they were properly sneaking in the house.

I sighed trying to hide the nerves that were bubbling in me like a out of control fire. I opened the door and walked in, just like I would of two days ago.

Soon as I walked through the door I knew I had made a mistake of coming in. I was suddenly met with about five people.

They all stood there in shock as I swallowed my fear and forced a smile on my face. “Hi, I’m Ashleya,” I said in a kind voice and they quickly covered their shock faces with a fake see through smile.
