We didn’t speak on the way home and I didn’t mind, the silence wasn’t awkward, I could feel his mind ticking as he would sneak a peek at me from the corner of his eyes.
He pulled up in front of my house and I could see light’s blaring inside the house, meaning my Aunt’s home. I sighed because deep down I wished I had stayed at Cole’s place even if I didn’t want to admit.
“I wish you stayed with me,” Cole admitted looking at me sadly. “I want to protect you,” He added and I blushed smiling up at him.
“I will be fine,” I told him and pulled myself up so my lips could lightly brush over his sparks flying between us with the smallest touch.
I pulled back and looked into his deep blue eyes now filled with lust. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer so he could kiss me again.
“Good night,” I told him and jumped out of the car before I wanted to go back to his and did something I would regret later.
“Leigh, do want to come bowling with some of the pack tomorrow after school, Casey is going to be there?” I heard Cole ask as I was about to shut the door.
I smiled “Sure,” I said excitedly and ran off into the house.
I woke up fresh and ready to start the day. My aunt hadn’t said anything about me coming home so late actually she hadn’t said a word to me.
I thought I would run to school and carry my clothes and bag in my mouth.
The air was fresh and my wolf howled in joy at being free. All my worries were lost in the wind as it would hit my face and cause my fur to flow around but I didn’t mind.
I got to school a little later as I lost myself in the woods.
I quickly walked towards English were Cole would properly be waiting for me, maybe freaking out because I was late.
I could just imagine him sitting at our desk as he would look at me with those gorgeous blue eyes.
No! I told myself and pushed all the thoughts back into my head. I could feel my wolf laugh at me in pity.
I walked to the door of our English room to see one of te teachers from our pack busy talking to the rest of the class.
Cole’s POV.
Why wasn’t she here yet? I asked myself trying to keep my wolf clam as he wanted to come into control and find her.
I tapped my foot impatiently against the floor, I got a few glares from the other human’s in my class but I just growled at them in warming and they back off.
I found it amusing how much impact I had on people even if they were just human.
Her scent hit me like a tidal wave. I snapped my gaze up to her as she hesitated in door way.
She was just so beautiful the way her brown eyes would light up when she saw me when he dimples would show when she smiled the tiniest of smiles.
She made me question myself at how much control I had. I always could control my wolf enough that it wouldn’t get me in trouble, but now I had met her, not only did it repulse me to think of another girl, it took all my best effort to keep my wolf down who wanted so badly to mate with her.
I kept telling myself that she wasn’t used to this, that she just didn’t understand any of it but it didn’t make it hurt any less or aggravate me.
“Mrs Dundee,” Tom said one of our pack teacher’s greeted her with a warm smile, even that I wanted to rip him to pieces she was mine.
I bit down a growl and focused on Leigh who was looking my way with her brown eyes.
We locked us and that’s when I felt the rush come over me, she was like a goddess.
A big smile appeared upon her lips when she saw me and I couldn’t help but smile back at her.
Tom coughed and I growled at him through our mind link. He snapped his head towards me and gave me a frightened look and nodded his head at me.
I motioned for Leigh to come in but she stood in place looking confused between Tom and me.
The bell rang and Leigh jumped like she had just been shocked. I chuckled at her and gathered my things and rushed towards her.
I slung one of my arms around her shoulder so that I could feel the sparks we shared when we touched.
“Hey,” She said and I could feel the tingles she gave me just by opening her mouth and saying something so easy.
“Hi,” I murmured and pushed her gently against the lockers in the corridor. She shivered as I bent my head down closer to her face.
“Why were you late?” I asked her my breathe becoming faster. It was so hard to talk to her when all I wanted was to be close to her.
“Umm,” She looked deep into my eyes as I searched hers while she bit her lip.
I chuckled at her, I knew it took most of her effort to keep her wolf down and resist me.
“It’s not funny,” She complained and frowned. I smiled at her.
“So what happened?” I asked her again. She seemed to blush in embarrassment.
“I got lost in the woods,” She said shyly and looked away. I smiled at her trying not to laugh.
“I could always show you around them, you know all you had to do is ask?” I told her and brushed a strand of her beautiful brown hair behind her ear.
“I just wanted some time to myself,” She said looking back into my eyes this time. It made sense coming here and finding out that she isn’t the only wolf in the world but also finding her mate must of been overwhelming for her. Not to mention that kid who was causing problems.
I growled at the thought of him, I was going to kill him the next time I saw him.
“Cole?” I heard Leigh asked a little worried and I snapped my head back to her. She was clinging onto my shirt causing me to move closer to her.
I sighed, “I’m sorry,” I told her and kissed her soft lips sending sparks throughout my body.
She kissed me back and our lip moved in sync like we were made for each other and that was the point we were and I wanted no one else.
She wrapped her hands in my hair and I moved my arms so that they were around her slim waist bringing her closer to me.
She pulled away breathlessly as I stood stars trucked on her lips. “Come on let’s get out of this dump,” I told her grabbing her hand and walking towards the school gates.
I was planning to bunk off today with Tyler and Nick but I wanted to see Leigh but I could feel Leigh, she didn’t want to be here anymore than I did.
