Ashleigh’s POV.
“Where are we going?” I asked as he glided me towards the school gates.
“We are going bowling,” He simply said and I looked at him confused coming to a stop.
“What about school?” I asked and he laughed as if he was sharing a private joke with himself.
“Forget about school,” He said and I studied him, I hadn’t seen this side of him before. I knew how much I complained I wouldn’t be able to stay even though I didn’t really want to.
“Can we go get Casey?” I asked him and he smiled brighter crushing his lips against mine.
“She’s on her way,” He said and as if on cue.
“Ashley!” I heard Casey shout from behind me. I snapped my head to Casey who was running up to me her blonde hair bouncing everywhere. I laughed and she reached me.
Cole arms were still surly around me which made Casey frown when she tried to hug me. Cole growled from beside me and me and Casey laughed.
“Let’s go get the trouble two,” Casey complained at Cole who just shrugged as he tried to keep a smile down.
“Who’s that?” I asked and I looked between them both.
“Nick and Tyler,” Casey said dully.
“Oh,” I said and laughed. Casey glared at me which made me laugh harder. “Remind me why you hate them so much?” I asked her a smile still on my lips.
“Many reason but most of all their immature boys!” She spat harshly and I frowned at her.
“They aren’t that bad,” Cole disagreed they always seemed to dislike each other.
“You would say that, you are one of them,” Casey spat but shocked over whelmed her. She wide eyed Cole with fear.
My wolf was getting agitated and me and Cole growled at Casey. Cole let go of me and stalked towards Casey who was shaking in fear.
“You don’t ever talk to me like that,” Cole roared, “I am your Alpha, why you hate Nick and Tyler in your business not my concern,” He finished his eyes turning a black colour.
My wolf wanted to back him up but I could see Casey was frightened by Cole and I felt sorry for her. I knew she hadn’t meant to say that.
“Cole,” I said his name and tugged at his arms to let go of Casey. “Stop it,” I begged him as Casey shook even more.
Cole turned around to face me his breathing was unsteady and he was trying to control his temper.
I looked at Casey who was standing still tears falling down her cheeks. The sight of her wanted me to break down in tears.
I walked over to Casey and held her tightly as she cried in my shoulder.
“I-I’m sorry,” She whimpered and I held her tighter.
“Hush, I know you didn’t mean it,” I told her.
“Come on, let’s go bowling,” I told her and she nodded wiping away the tears on her face.
I walked over to Cole who was looking at me in sadness. “She shouldn’t of-,” He started but I put my hand up to stop him.
“I know, you put her in her place,” I told him and he gave me a weak smile. He interlaced his hand with mine while Casey dangled her arm through mine.
When we got there Tyler and Nick were waiting for us outside the place with a grin on their faces.
“Alpha,” They both said bowing their heads at Cole, when they noticed me they did it again.
