“Mother,” I yelled when I spotted her, as Artemis and I ran towards her.

“Selene, how are you?” Nyx asked us ad we reached her.

“We need your help.” Artemis said, “Oh Hermes, come here.” she said as he was about to run past us.

“Yes Artemis, what do you want?” He said as he came over.

“We just need you to deliver this moon dust to Hephaestus so he can finish Selene's chariot.” She said handing him the bag with the moon dust.

“Doesn't he also need your magic?” Hermes asked taking the bag from her.

“Yes but that one is easy, just tell him to do what he needs with the moon dust and we'll be there in about 10 minutes.” Artemis told him, “And take it straight there, we need her chariot done yesterday.”

“Alright, I’m off.” Hermes said and sped toward Hephaestus's forge.

“Alright, Nyx, we need your help.” Artemis said.

“Yes, with what?” she asked

“Selene, you explain.” Artemis told me.

“Their is a bright blood red light coming out of the hole to the core of the moon. It's wrong mother, it feels malevolent.” I told her.

“We were wondering if you knew of something like this happening before?” Artemis asked.

“No I don't. But you might want to find Achelois and ask her. She may know something.” Nyx told us.

“But I took her job, what she stood for. Do you really think she'll help us?” Artemis asked.

“I don't know if she will or not. She might to save the moon.” Nyx said, “But you have to try.”

“Do you know where she is?” I asked her.

“You two aren’t the only ones who can stay on the moon.” She told us as she turned around and started to walk back towards Erebus, and we just looked at each other, like duh.

“How have we never felt her up there before?” I asked Artemis.

“I, don't know. Lets go get your chariot.” She told me. We walked to Hephaestus's forge and when we got their he was done.

“Hephaestus, it looks wonderful. Now what do we have to do?” I said.

“You and Artemis just need to concentrate your magic on the chariot and fill it, I’ll tell you when to stop.” He told us and we did as he said, we concentrated our magic. “Alright stop now. It's done.”

“Thank you Hephaestus,” I said to him as I hitched up my reindeer, the only animal that can survive on the moon, not that they like it.

“We need to get going to find Achelois.” Artemis said, “Goodbye Hephaestus.”

Artemis and I climbed into my chariot and we took off, to get hers first, then we went back to the moon.

When we got there we landed next to each other and concentrated to find Achelois.

“I found her, Artemis.” I told her, “but what if she's the one doing this?”

“Then we have to stop her. But I don’t think she'd destroy her home.” she said.

“You never know.” I said.

“No you don't where is she?”

“On the other side of the moon, she's in the dark side.” I told her climbing back into my chariot, I wasn't walking to the other side of the moon. We took off and when we entered the dark side I was blind, “I can't see.”

“Look for light.” Artemis said. “Where there's light, there's Achelois. Selene, did you notice the moon is full?”

“Yes and it should not be,” I said, “I'm worried.”

“Something may have happened to Pandia.” Artemis said.

“Don't say that Artemis, I don't want it to be that.” I said, but I couldn't help not feeling the doubt in what she said. “I see it.” I said as I headed in for a landing.

“Mother?!” I heard a voice yell from the dark, when I landed in the light. “Mother! Help me!”

“Pandia.” Artemis said looking at me.

“NO!!” I screamed running over to my daughter and changing the age I looked at the same time, to 26, I’m always 26 around my children. “Pandia, are you alright?” I asked her removing the silver chains that bound her.

“I- I’m fine.” She said standing up and then crumpling onto the ground, she looked five years old.

“No, you're not.” I said helping her into my chariot. “We'll get you Olympus.”

“We need to stop Achelois first. Pandia, is she the one messing with the moon.” Artemis asked her, trying to keep her awake.

“Yes, it's her.” she said.

“Is she also the one causing the blood red light to come out of the hole to the core?” I asked, Pandia is the goddess of the full moon so she can also stay on the moon, but not all the time like Artemis and I, only when there’s a full moon.

“Yes, she's also keeping it a full moon, so she could keep me here, I don't know how she's doing it though.” she said.

“Pandia, one last question. Where is she?” Artemis asked.

“Heading to the core, she's planning to jump in.” She said looking terrified. “Mother, you can't let her.”

“I know, and I wont. I promise.” I told her. “Take my chariot back to Olympus, get to Apollo or Asclepius. I’ll go with Artemis.”

“OK.” she said getting up and grabbing the reins. “See you soon.” she told me and left.

“She'll be fine.” Artemis told me, “Come on let's get to the core.”
