Auroras POV
"Pancakes are ready!" I scream. The boys come filing into the dining room and poor Ally is the last looking sad as the boys basically immediately eat all the pancakes. Ally and I groan.
"HEY!" Ally says, slapping Ashton's back head. I glare at the boys.
"THOSE WERE OUR PANCAKES THATS WHY THERE WAS ONLY 5 THESE ARE YOURS!" I scream, showing them a perfect stack of 20 pancakes. They hungrily reach for it but I hold it up higher and glare at them.
"Nope, you can't have them!" I say. "You ate ours, so we get to eat yours," I state, them watching sadly as I pass Ally ten pancakes, and I dump 10 on my plate myself.
"Mm," I say, stuffing a big piece of pancake in my mouth. They roll there eyes.
"Can we just go to IHOP?" Michael suggests. I roll my eyes.
"Yuh, at least it'll be better service," Ash says, shooting me a glare. I stick my tongue out then quickly eat another bite, making him roll his eyes.
"I'm in!" Luke says. Cal agrees and they all head outside. "Cya!" Luke calls as the boys exit.
"Aurora," Ally asks. I smile at her.
"Yeah?" I ask, taking another bite of my pancakes.
"Mum isn't going to be home for Christmas," she pouts. I stroke her hair.
"I know, sweetie, but you know mum." I say. "She's an archaeologist, and she needs to travel to many different places."
"But why can't she just be a regular mum?" Ally asks, playing with her food.
"Ally, her dream has always been to study the past, and she's living it," I state. "I know it's hard for you, and it's hard for me too. It hurts that she's not here for such an important event. But do you really want to take her dream away from her just because of that?" I ask. I watch as a tear rolls down her cheek. I wrap my arms around her.
"It's okay," I whisper. "I know... It's okay."
"Can you take me to the movies?" She asks, pulling away from me.
"Why?" I ask, checking my phone.
She shrugs. "Didn't 'Into The Woods' come out?" She asks. I laugh.
"Yeah, you wanna go see it?" I ask. Her eyes light up.
"Yes!" She says. "Let me go get ready. She rushes upstairs, leaving me behind laughing.
•~After the Movie~•
"Ummm," I say, as the movie ends. Let me put this straight for all y'all out there; the movie was horrible.
"Uh, that wasn't... That bad?" I say as Ally and I stand up and start walking toward the exit.
"Are you kidding?!" Ally exclaims "that was horrid!" She screams, people's heads turning towards her. I slap her arm and 'Shh' her.
"Don't say that out loud!" I scold as we finally exit the movie theater.
"Yes it was the worst thing ever." Ally says. (A/N spoiler alert! Srry!!! The bold is spoiler read on without the bold:]) "That witch blinded the guy! And the stepmom cut of the girls heel and toe! And the wolf ATE red riding hood and the grandma and then THE BAKER CUT THE STOMACH OPEN, KILLING THE POOR WOLF AND GETTING THE TWO OUT! IT WAS DISGUSTING!" She exclaims, making me laugh. She can seriously be so overreactive. Or not. It was pretty disgusting.
"Put on your seatbelt, ya monster," I say, turning on the car ( A/N it's an electric car:} ) and pulling on my own seatbelt. I click in into place, and I slowly back out of the parking lot.
I hear my phone buzz. I quickly check it as we stop at a stoplight.
CalPal: hey Aurora we r at my house recording wnt 2 come ovr?
I laugh, remembering the contact name I gave Calum; CalPal. I pull into the driveway and immediately text Calum back.
Me: sorry can't babysitting ally ;(
CalPal: awwww! she can cme 2?

"Why did we stop in this persons driveway..." Ally asks. I laugh.
"Change of plans, we're going to Calums house." I say. Ally groans.
"Whyyyyy," she drags. I roll my eyes.
"Because" I simply say.
