Done with the love songs,I had them laid
Along with the love poems, or so I said
Reasoning against the thoughts my stupid brain made
Yes, you got me taking my chances, like playing in an arcade
Darkness was what covered my everyday writing
And that is until you brought out something
Red flashing light that can be understood as a warning
Yet can also bring out something within that's now glittering
Light,a light of wisdom into an unknown
Red hot light with a feeling that has grown
Under the dark sky, to me it is shown
Seeing it took my breath away, it had me blown
Short was the time I spent knowing you
Even if I knew you a long time ago
Let's just say, what I mean is knowing you in a close range too
Leading me into figuring out that the songs, the poems, they're fit for you
