The next day, Alexander walked to school by himself, leaving Aaron still inside the house. Alex wanted to be earlier to school, that way he could catch up on the homework he forgot to do.

Once he got to his classroom, he sat down in his seat. He looked over at the seat at his right and made a disgusted look. It was Aaron's seat. He remembered what happened yesterday and quickly scowled, but once he thought of homework, he immediately got his papers and answered them.

Soon, the classroom was filled with many students chatting here and there. Alexander was already finished with his homework, so he just listened to everyone's conversations. In one conversation, he heard someone say "You know, everyone loves Sir Washington so much that they really miss the BEST teacher, Sir Washington III." Alexander was offended. For him, Sir Washington was the best!

Alexander stood up, approached the one who was talking, and yelled "Did I just hear you say that Sir Washington III is better? He is like, a British disappointment. Seriously, all his lectures are just him bragging about what happened in his life. It's honestly tiring!".

The one who said Sir Washington III was better just gave him a dirty look "Well, that might be true, but Sir Washington is just WAY too overrated. You're probably just blinded with his fame to even know what he really acts like." Alexander just stood there in shock. If anyone knew what Sir Washington acts like, it's Alex. He knew that Sir Washington is a kind and assertive teacher, which makes him one of the best teachers.

Alex stood there in disbelief. The friend of the one who preferred Sir Washington III whispered something in his ear, but Alexander can clearly hear it "Samuel, I don't think it's a good idea to do that, we could get in trouble!".

Now that Alex knew his name, he spoke up "So, Samuel, you REALLY think that Sir Washington III is better? Only a..." After finishing his sentence, Samuel insulted him back, and Alexander insulted him again. This happened continuously, forming a crowd around them.

Soon, Alexander had enough, he was so furious that he slapped Samuel on the face. At the exact moment, Sir Washington came in and saw the whole thing unfold "Alexander! Samuel! What is happening here?". The students scampered off to their seats as soon as they heard Sir Washington speak. Alexander stood there in shock. Samuel's eyes opened wide and ran to Sir Washington saying "Sir! Alexander slapped me! He was so cruel... I didn't even do anything wrong!". Sir Washington nodded and approached Alex. He stood in front of Alexander, upset.

Alexander smiled shyly as Sir Washington wrote down something in a piece of paper. After a while, Sir Washington gave Alexander a piece of paper. Alex looked down at the paper and immediately felt a wave of uneasiness. Detention for Alexander Hamilton. Sir Washington then broke the silence "So, meet me in the Detention room after school."

Sir Washington then went on with his discussion and Alexander sat down, wondering what will happen in his first detention.
