It's been a month since Alexander's father left. Sometimes he would think about the memories with his father, but at some times, he would remember that young boy who waved at him. Right at that moment, the doorbell rang. Alex ran down the stairs wondering who would visit them at this moment. As soon as he opened the door, he saw the young boy.

The young boy brightened when he saw Alex "Hi, I'm Aaron Burr. I am in dire need of assistance right now." Aaron said. "What do you want?" Alex asked skeptically. "My foster parents abandoned me, and I really need a place to stay. So I'm hoping-" "So you're hoping if you can stay here for a while?" Alexander said, cutting him off. Aaron nodded his head.

Alexander called on his mother. As soon as she saw Aaron, she smiled "Why hello! It's not every day a child visits us." Aaron simply said, "I need a place to stay, may I stay here?" His mother just smiled and nodded "Of course! You're more than welcome here.".

Alex didn't mind if Aaron stayed for a few years, as long as Aaron will follow his rules. Aaron didn't know what was going to happen, but as long as he's safe in there, it'll be a decent home for him.

Soon enough, James came downstairs, bags under his eyes. He was in immediate shock when he saw Aaron. He eyed Aaron suspiciously as he approached him. Aaron shook James's hand "Hello there, I'm going to stay here for a while, I hope that's fine with you." James just gave him a skeptical look. Yep, they're going to be great friends.

That year might have started off bad, but as it went on, the year got better.
