Unreasonable Love (On-going)

Chapter One

Hi! I'm Syrene, I live in this world for about 18 years now..

Well, it's really hard to live comfortably when there are toxic people around you.

But, if you're just going to open your eyes widely.. you will see the good side in their judgements.

And I can't see it yet.

"Syrene, I need your advice right now."

"About what?" I asked without looking at her.

Leanne heaved a sigh then she looked at the stars just like me. Everytime that I see this beautiful view, parang ayoko nalang bumaba.

"Alam mo naman na ikaw lang ang maasahan ko.."

Napatingin ako sa kaniya agad at pinakita ang mapungay kong mata.

"Wala akong pera" I said with my 'sad' eyes.

"That's not what I meant!"

'Di ko nalang siya pinansin at lumipat sa kabilang upuan kaya gumalaw ito ng kaunti.

Ang dami niya pa kasing paligoy-ligoy. Pwede niya naman sabihin ng agaran.

"Ano ba! Alam mo namang may fear of heights ako e! Bumalik ka na rito!"

"Shut up. I'm serious." I said effortlessly.

Agad naman siyang kumalma at pinigilan ang takot niya dahil sa pag galaw namin.

"M-my Dad and.. I are always fighting r-recently.. He wants to marry Tita Rose but isn't that disrespectful with my mom's family? I mean, m-my m-Mom just died two years ago at ang ipapalit pa ni Dad e 'yong kapatid ni Mommy.. Ano nalang sasabihin ng mga relatives namin sa side ni Mom?"

"Ba't mo naman iisipin 'yong sasabihin nila?"

"I don't want him to get hurt by their words.."

"I admire your Dad.."

"W-what?"

"He really loves Tita Rose, he's not scared to the problems and hindrances that they might experience with their decision. I'm sure na maraming aayaw sa decision nila but.. it seems like your dad doesn't give a irrumabo about it."

(A/N: irrumabo means f*ck)

Leanne just looked at me na para bang 'what the hell are you saying?' look. I really need to open her mind.

"It's a true love, tho. When you love someone, you'll become a deaf. Dahil naririnig mo lang ang sinasabi ng puso mo, kahit na anong sabihin ng iba wala lang 'yon sayo dahil ang puso mo pa rin ang masusunod.."

"So, you're their fan now, huh?" Hindi maka paniwalang sabi ni Leanne.

"Tita rose is always kind to you right? Kwento mo pa nga e, she's like your Mom, you just avoided her when your Dad told you that he loves her.."

Umiwas naman ng tingin si Leanne at pinag laruan ang buhok niya na parang bata. Bullseye.

"Leanne, marami ka ng nasabi na masasamang salita sa Dad mo. You don't want him to get hurt by the judgements of other people but you know what hurts him the most? When he's having an argument with his only daughter.. 'yong tipong nag kakalayo na ang loob nila sa isa't-isa because of misunderstanding.. ikaw na mismo ang nananakit sa Dad mo through your words.."

"I-Im sorry! I didn't think that w-w-way-- I'm so selfish.."

Leanne yelled and covered her face using her palm. She's like a spoiled kid na hindi binilhan ng candy.

Lumapit ako sa kaniya at niyakap siya. We're in a Ferris Wheel at nasa pinaka top na kami so, I'm assuming that no one would hear Leanne-- I hope.

"I know that I don't have the right to tell you this but why don't you let your Dad explain his point of view? I know it's hard for you to see your Dad with another woman but--"

"No, it's fine with me.. It's just that.. I don't want my Dad to forget me kapag nagka anak sila ni Tita Rose.. Dad has the freedom to love again.. I lost my Mom already.. Ayoko na pati si Dad.." pag putol naman ni Leanne sa akin.

"Hey, 'di nawala sayo Mom mo. She's always in your heart and she will be always here to guide you."

Leanne just nodded a lot of times while crying. Mahirap naman talaga ang gano'ng sitwasyon.

Sana nga ay ganiyan nalang rin ang nangyari..

"Syrene, thank you sa mga advices mo kanina. It really helped me a lot, but I still need to talk to my Dad about this." Leanne said with a swallow eyes. HAHA.

"Yeah, you're welcome." I said while giggling.

"Tsk, tara libre kita sa shawma!"

"Thanks!!" Thanks God. This. Is. It.

We walk fast papunta sa loob ng mall dahil nasa third-floor pa ang shawma so basically, we're gonna buy shawarma (obvious naman sa name ng store 'no? Left? Or right?) sobrang sarap no'n kaya nga laging marami ang pila. Kulang nalang e mag reklamo 'yong mga ibang food stalls na katabi nila.

"Sy, look!"

Halos madapa naman ako dahil sa biglang pag hinto ni Leanne. Hawak niya kasi ang kamay ko.

"Nakakalimutan mo bang hila mo ako?" sabi ko sabay roll ng eyes.

"Ang dami na kasing naka pila! Paano na tayo? Baka maubusan tayo niyan e!" reklamo naman niya.

"Ang malas naman! I wanna eat shawarma so freakin' bad!!" sabi ko habang nakatingin sa mga nakapila.

They're soooo lucky dahil nakapila pa sila at matitikman nila ang napaka sarap na shawarma.

"Uhm.. excuse me?"

Sabi ng lalake sa likod ko at talagang tinapik pa ako sa balikat. Ayoko sa lahat e 'yong feeling close.

"What?!" sabi ko naman.

"Naka harang kasi kayo.."

"Sorry! Sorry!" agad na sabi ni Leanne at hinila ako patabi. Sobrang crowded naman kasi dito.

"He's working at shawma's store, ohh" sabi ni Leanne sabay turo sa lalake.

"What if he's the owner?" I asked out of nowhere.

"Shut up! Walang rich kid na mag ttrabaho ng ganiyan 'no. They prefer to have fun every night kesa mag work just like him."

"Hindi naman lahat ay ganoon 'no!" pag depensa ko naman.

"Bahala ka! Sobrang pagbabasa mo 'yan e! Tara makiusap tayong pumila!" sabi niya naman at hinila ako.

"'Wag na! Mag Starbucks nalang tayo!" sabi ko at hinila naman siya palayo sa shawma.

"Mainipin ka lang talaga!"

"Bilisan mo na!"

Hinila ko siya ng sobrang lakas dahil ang bagal niyang mag lakad.

"Ano ba!"

"Ganiyan rin naramdaman ko kanina"

"So, gagawin mo rin sa akin?"

"Hehe" sabi ko naman sabay peace sign.

Bahala siya sa kung anong gusto niyang isipin. Basta, 'di makakaapekto 'yon sa amin..
