"Impudent!"
A big, loud voice echoed around. The ground shook because of that roar. The surrounding seemed to be in a chaotic state.
The ice covering my knees earlier has already reached my chin. Ilang segundo din ang lumipas bago nito binalutan ang buo kong katawan.
However, even despite turning into an ice, I could still sense what was occuring around.
I somehow caught the glimpse of why this happened to me. The gigantic man was behind this, I am certain about that.
After his big roar, the surrounding suddenly fell into a deep silence. The defeaning silence made me feel frightened.
"Thump!"
Then I heard a loud crashing sound, which is the last thing I remembered before I found myself floating in the air.
The ice man vanished out of nowhere after that.
Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nangyari bakit palutang-lutang nalang ako ngayon sa era.
"Ha?"
I looked at my body- no, my body was nowhere in sight. I actually turned into particles, similar to what will happen to a monster being killed.
"You have died."
There was a sudden mechanical voice in my head. It was a brief announcement.
I just died?! How come?
Base from what was happening, it looks like I really died, but why am I still here? It looks like my consciousness remained, lingering around this area.
Alam kong ang pumatay sa akin ay ang higante kanina. That must be a Boss Monster. A boss is extremely territorial to its place, and it considered me as trespassers. The boss killed me just now, the thump earlier must be probably him stomping his foot at me. Namatay ako sa isang tapakan lang!
Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kaya hinayaan ko nalang na anurin ako ng hangin palabas ng cave.
Why the heck Bell didn't told me about it kanina?
While immersed in my thought, I saw a figure slowly sneaking in inside the cave. It was Bell. Bakit pumasok parin siya sa loob?!
"Umalis ka diyan! Mamamatay ka!"
I tried to shout, trying to warn her about how dangerous the cave is. Unfortunately, she couldn't hear me.
All I could do was to look at her back walking towards where I just died.
I need to follow her.
Alam niya naman na delikado sa loob, bakit parin siya pumasok?!
Nang makapasok na ako sa loob ng cave, unang nakita ko ay nakaupong pigura ni Bell sa kung saan ako namatay. Nakayuko ito at parang may pinupulot sa nyebe.
I went in front of her and what I saw made me stop. What the hck?
"Ang dali talaga utuin ng mga tao ngayon." Bell suppressed a sinister laugh. "I don't even need to lift a finger to kill. That foolish kid is now dead."
Habang nagsasalita, isa-isa niyang pinagpupulot ang mga copper coins sa lupa. Batid kong galing sa akin ang mga coins na iyon.
Now I am starting to realize what just happened.
"I can still feel your presence near me, August. You must be probably thinking. Too bad, you fell into my trap."
After collecting the coins, she stood up and patted the snow dusts on her clothe. A contempt was visible on her eyes as she roamed her gaze.
