Chapter 7: Green Scorpion-Tailed Serpent

"Ssssss!"

An enormous snake appeared out of nowhere.

Using its tail, he raised it on the air and slammed it on the river causing for water to splash around.

I narrowed my eyes. Some portion of his pale green scales are covered with moss in the hue of dark green. His scales reflected the faint light from the magical rocks on the river, glistening his gigantic body. This looks like not an ordinary scale.

Base from the dart he was giving me, this seems an indication I am already his prey and it will do what it takes to eat me.

His eyes are examining my whole body, I could feel it. 

Nanginig ako. Is he going to kill me? Ayaw ko ulit mamatay!

I immediately asked Asbo about the information of this snake.

According to her, this snake falls in the category of a C-grade level monster, a low level Boss Monster that has the ability to command reptiles nearby. His domain ranges from the river up to the land I am standing.

I should have known that this river is considered as one of the dangerous places here in the forest.

Sana pala hindi na ako naglakad dito sa river kung madadatnan ko lang naman pala ay isang Boss Monster. This type of monster is strong. I am hesitating whether to run or fight.

Thinking deeply about it, if I managed to defeat this monster, probably I could accumulate resources and experience points from it.

Fortunately, ayon kay Asbo, there is currently no reptiles around the area which decreases the risk of me dying. I sighed a relief knowing na wala siyang mac-command na ibang monster.

This snake is called Green Scorpion-Tailed Serpent. A puremonster type.

Its ability was related to poison. It could use its mouth to produce poisonous liquid. If it hits, regardless of what it is, it will cause burn. This type of ability is known as Green Poisonous Inferno. From its name alone, one would be able to know that it could sprout green flame in a liquid form that is toxic.

This ability could also directly melt surfaces. Despite how resistive a player's defense against poison, it was still able to penetrate it. This Serpent is a royalty in this forest, so if even you have the resistance to poison and fire, you should still be cautious around this snake.

Sabi pa, this Serpent is one of the rarest monster in this game. Once napatay ang Serpent na ito, it will take a year for it to be resurrected at a random spot near the river. This will also only appear once the requirement are met and once in a blue moon lang ito kung lumitaw.

Kung lalabas man ito, it will only hunt to eat until full and go back to hibernate. Kung sino man ang una niyang makitang prey, it wouldn't stop chasing it hanggang sa maging hapunan niya na ito. Hindi ito titigil, wala paring takas ang player kung naging prey na ito.

Napangiwi ako sa aking nalaman. The only option I have now is to do my very best to kill this monster.

Aside from its poison ability, it also has a unique ability wherein it could create snakes out of water. These replica are in the color of blue and was classified as D-grade level monster. However, there is a limit with his replica and he should be nearby the water. He could only create two water snakes every three days after their death.

Kaya nagtatago ito sa tubig dahil alam niyang malakas siya rito.

Moving on, his poison and replica are not what makes him dominate this area. It was his tail which is his unique trait compared to other snakes.
