Chapter 8: Silver-Armored Bear

After collecting the resources from the ground, I used the slime hook to jump into the nearest branch. Then I leaned on the tree and closed eyes. I felt exhausted just by killing that Serpent so I decided to rest for a while.

The exhaustion is worth it considering that I got rare resources. I also gained levels and a skill. These resources are helpful throughout the game.

Before sitting on this branch, I have already covered enough Mist around the area so if there are intruders, I would immediately feel it. This is what I learned by experimenting.

I found out earlier that using the ability Identical Mist will cost a lot of mana. Even despite knowing that this is a good technique, hindi parin ito maganda kung palaging gagamitin. Kaya as much as possible, I should only use this technique once in a while.

And because I have summoned three replicas, it did deplete my mana 'till I almost ran out of it. I also used the Mist Thread earlier which also uses mana so my mana percentage right now dropped to 9% only.

Because Asbo is here, which is my google here in this game, I found out that in order to replenish my mana, I only need to rest and not use it for the meantime. Players could also use mana potion to replenish it, but since I don't have mana potion, resting is the best option as of the moment.

Then without me knowing, I have already fallen asleep due to the fatigue.

I don't know many minutes had passed. I just found myself waking up from the grunts beside my ear.

I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was a big hole right across my face. I blinked, and only realized what it was when I felt a liquid dropping from it. It was big damn fcking mouth!

What the fck is this?!

'This is a dream.' I thought.

This big mouth was similar to the dream I had last time. This is the King Slime and it was about to eat me whole!

As soon as I realized what was happening, the mouth was already halfway. In a blink of an eye, it directly ate my whole being. Kinain ako ng hayop na ito. What kind of dream is this?!

All I felt right now was the sticky feeling around my skin. It felt so damn real. Hindi rin ako makagalaw sa loob ng tiyan ng halimaw na 'to. There is no other escape.

I was inside of a tummy with nothing else inside. It felt like I was dropped into an abyss.

After a while, there was a sudden pang in my head that causes me to feel dizziness. I tried not to wince in pain, but in no avail, pitch black already covered my vision. I lost my consciousness.

"Fck!" Napabuga ako ng hininga nang magising ako sa panaginip na iyon.

Bumalik ako ngayon sa gubat. I was still on the tree, leaning against the trunk. There is no Slime King and I wasn't on his tummy.

My mind went blank for a moment. That dream felt too real! Buti nalang nagising ako.

While immersed on that situation, I suddenly felt a vibration coming from the mist. Bumalik ako sa tamang wisyo at hindi na muling inisip ang nangyari kanina.

Someone has entered the range of my mist.

Looking around the vicinity, I noticed that the forest was illuminated with a glowing light. The surrounding was covered with sparkling diamonds. Gabi na pala sa mga oras na ito. Sobrang bilis ng oras kung tumakbo. Nakatulog ba ako ng ilang oras?

I felt so alive at the moment. All of my stats have fully been recovered.
