Chapter 4: Already A Mess

Chloe's POV:

There was some murmur everywhere. Everyone was probably wondering what was happening.

The 'couple' broke their kiss to see what was happening and Eric was looking at me in awe. I couldn't see the face of the girl clearly as she was looking away so I decided to walk over to her.

I walked to the aisle slowly with tears in my eyes and finally I got there and the person I saw left me speechless

"Zoe?" I asked admist tears
"Look, Chloe, I'm sorry but......"
"But what Zoe? You are literally marrying my husband for me so what buts do you have?" I asked shouting and crying as everyone's attention was on us
"Calm down Chloe, you're causing a commotion....."
"I should stay calm?, I can't stay calm my supposed to be husband just got newly wedded to my sister, my twin sister, how do you even expect me to calm down?, where do I even go from here?" I interrupted mum still in tears looking at everyone hatefully

"I'm sorry Chloe, I didn't know this wasn't you" Eric said calmly
"We are not even identical so don't you dare lie to me" I screamed at him painfully
"It's her makeup" was all he could say

It's true that I and Chloe can actually makeup ourselves to look like each other even if we aren't identical twins but still Eric, you can think of a better excuse

"How did you even feel when you were doing this Zoe?" I asked and waiting in vain for her response before running out of the wedding hall in pain to probably go back home and cry.

I really don't understand what is going on

Zoe's POV:

I got really jealous when I heard Chloe was getting married before me and to my ex too.

I tried to tell her not to marry him but she was too stubborn. I cried all night in my room when I thought of the fact that Chloe would become a married woman while I on the other hand who is actually the cutest amongst us would remain a single bird.

Yes, I like my Independence but if Chloe wanted to get married, I wanted it too.

I cried to mum about this and since the foolish woman does everything I always ask, she decided on a plan that would help me get married before Chloe.

We started by switching off dad's phone and telling the makeup artists and the other girls that were supposed to dress Chloe up that I was Chloe. Then we slept at an hotel late that night to avoid being seen with the makeup crew the next day by dad or Chloe.

I got my face tanned so I looked a bit like Chloe, put on my wedding dress and off I was to get married.

I was really shocked when I saw Chloe at the church, I was expecting her to at least wait for her car and not run all the way to church.

"How did you even feel when you were doing this Zoe" she asked looking at me with tears in her eyes before running away.

I feel bad for her honestly but it's too late now, I'm already married to Eric, I'm already Mrs. Zoe Aidon.

"What just happened here?" Eric whispered in my ears as soon as
"I'm sorry Eric, I'm not really Chloe, I'm actually Zoe" I whispered back biting my lower lip expecting him to get angry but instead he just turned away and continued the wedding like nothing weird ever happened.

Wow, isn't he supposed to be mad or something?

Chloe's POV:

I got home and tore my wedding gown into pieces, my heart was shattered, I was in pains.

Zoe has taken everything away from me right from childhood, she never considers my emotions, she doesn't even realize how much I love her and always get into trouble for her, she always wanted to have her way and she actually does with mum by her side since dad is ways busy at work, but I honestly wasn't expecting her to do this to me.

And Eric is no different, he got married to my sister and I'm sure he knew that wasn't me, why is everyone like this

"Are you OK Chloe?" I heard someone say and rush over to me, I raised my head and met Alec, Eric's best friend looking at me with pity in his eyes
"No, I'm not okay, nothing is okay Alec, nothing" I screamed and he pulled me into a hug while I cried

"How did you get here?" I asked when he finally let go of me
"The door was open, you didn't lock it" he said with a small smile while I just nodded my head

"There's something I have to tell you Chloe, Eric didn't really want to marry you, he always loved Zoe but his grandma and parents wouldn't approve of their wedding because they didn't like Zoe, they preferred he got married to you, he was upset when he heard that but he didn't want to disappoint them and that was why he arranged this marriage but when he saw Zoe as the bride he got happy, I tried to warn you earlier but you weren't paying any attention to me, you were truly in love with him weren't you?" He asked but I couldn't answer because I was in shock

Eric was using me, Zoe knew about it, that's what Alec has been trying to tell me for some weeks now?

I always wanted to go see him and hear what he wanted to say but Eric stopped me and I never understood his reason, I was the fool in this whole situation and I didn't even know?

I couldn't even cry anymore, all I could do was stare at him in confusion before he pulled me again into another hug but that wasn't helping at all, my life was already a mess.

Author's note:

I wanted to really write more but I had nothing else to write so I'll probably update late tonight, that's when I get lots of ideas
