Chapter 6: Kick Me In The.........

Chloe's POV:

"If Zoe is your wife, then Chloe is mine, and this house belongs to my son too so my wife has the right to live here with me" Eric's grandma shouted angrily at him

"What do you mean?, I will not allow Chloe to stay at her in-laws place, it can't be done" mum exclaimed

Apart from mum, I also don't agree, I'm just trying to get over Eric and live my life normally and living here would make things difficult for me

"So it rather be done that a mother supports her child to get married to her sister's husband?" She asked mum
"OK, I made a mistake, so what?, stop bringing up that long gone issue and leave Chloe alone, she is my daughter and I know what to do with her" mum shouted shamelessly
"No one in this family have set eyes on Zoe, we all know Chloe as his wife, it is either he gets married to Chloe his really wife and she stays here with us or we send his arrogant girlfriend packing" Eric's mum was the one speaking this time

"Girlfriend?!, excuse me madam but we got married in a church, Eric your family is insulting me again, say something" Zoe shouted angrily but every one seemed to ignore her point even Eric who looked confused

"My daughter Chloe cannot live here and that is final" mum said pulling my hands and dragging me out of the house angrily and forcefully, I was almost in tears because my wrist was hurting

"Mum......you're hurting my hand, mum..... mum!" I cried as we leaving but she ignored. I could hear Eric's mum and grandma calling her name pleading with her to let me go but she ignored, pushed me into the car and zoomed off.

"Mum, why did you do that?, it's not like I was actually going to stay there but why did you............"
"Shut your mouth!!!" She interrupted me before facing the steering wheel again.

"Stay in your room and I don't want you to mention any thing that happened today to your father, OK?!" Mum yelled as soon as we got unto the house and I nodded my head before going upstairs.

I took out Cherry from my wardrobe where I usually keep her and cuddled her tightly as I cry. She's my only companion in times like this.

*ring

That must be my phone.

I check to see a text from Alec asking me to meet him at 'Golden Plates Restaurant' today by 8:00.

I don't really know what he wants to talk about but I'm going anyways, I need something to clear my mind off everything that has happened to me recently.

Zoe's POV:

"You big coward" I yelled as I threw a pillow at Eric "Your family members always make a fool out of me and all you do is stand and stare like the idiot you are" I yelled again throwing yet another pillow

Mum and Chloe just left a while ago and I pulled Eric upstairs to our room to hopefully get some sense into his empty head

"Did you expect me to shout back at my grandma?" He asked catching my pillow
"She called me your girlfriend in front of Chloe, she tried to make Chloe stay here again and all you could do was mope, you are nothing but an imbecile, I can't believe I left Aaron for an idiot like you" I said dragging the bedsheets from the head and throwing it at him as I was already out of pillows
"Can you please just being childish Zoe?" He asks
"I'm being childish?, can you hear yourself right now?" I asked him pointing a finger at myself
"Look, I didn't mean it that way Zoe, I'm sorry, I'll stand up for you next time I promise, OK?!" He asked with a small smile obviously trying to cheer me up but next thing I walked out on him with a sigh.

If he thinks I was going to run over to him and say "OK, hunny bear" then he must literally be dreaming.

Chloe's POV:

"Hi" Alec says as soon as I get near his table.

I got to Golden Plates Restaurant without mum's knowledge. I knew she wouldn't let me go so I asked dad instead and he agreed but told me to be back before 11:00

"Hi" I responded taking the seat opposite him and he hands me the menu and we ordered hot wings

"So why did you call me here?" I asked as soon as the waitress puts our food down on our table
"Well, I've been inviting you out on movies but you didn't always show up so I just decided to try my luck this time" he answered with a grin
"So you called me here just to see if you're a lucky man?" I asked and he chuckled
"No actually, I knew you'll be needing some company after everything that has been happening and I just wanted to let you know I'm here for you and maybe help you ease your stress" he responds
"You are crazy Alec, how can you ease my stress?, can you get me married to Eric?" I asked and he frowns
"I can't but I can help you have fun, you can do what ever you want, I know you're mad at Zoe, your mum and Eric so you can pretend I'm the three of them combined together and pour all your anger on me, you can slap me, insult me, punch me in the face and even kick me in the.... " I laugh as I know exactly what he was about to say

"See, that's what I'm talking about, I don't want you to keep thinking about Eric, he was a jerk for leaving you, I just want you to always keep smiling and laughing" he says again and I chuckle
"You don't know how much I really want to forget about him Alec, I'm so happy to find out someone apart from my dad has got my back" I say with a small smile and he smiles back before gesturing me to eat my wing

"O, yeah, I even forget I ordered" I said and we both laughed

We kept on talking and laughing at random things and he was right, it all did make me feel better.

He dropped me home later by 10:32 and we agreed to meet again tomorrow, he didn't actaully tell me where or when but I liked it, at least I'll be too curious about where we are going and have no time at all to think about you-know-who(s)

Yes, I'm still alive.

I'm sorry I haven't been updating like crazy but I'm back now and hopefully I'll update better than before.
