Jennie's POV

The sound of the flat line was like some signal that my own life was ending was well. All the nurses and doctors rushed to Lisa's side as they began to revive her.

I stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. Rosé, Minnie and her mother collapsed to the floor crying while begging the doctors to do everything in their power to save Lisa's life.

All I felt at that time was that she decided to give up on me. I knew for a fact that the conversation I had with her in my dream was real. I spoke to her spirit, the one that was mindlessly lingering through the walls of this hospital, waiting to awaken in its body.

Was she really giving up on me? After everything we've been through together? The things I encountered with Lisa were indescribable and too magnificent to be even real. How could she not have faith in us, after all that?

"This is unfair..." I mumbled to myself, shaking my head in disbelief as my entire body began to tremble. "You can't leave me this way. Tell me I didn't just go through the most magical things in life only to end up alone!"

"Try to find genuine happiness in you, because you will if you try."

Lisa's words kept echoing in my mind and I knew exactly what she wanted to hear one more time.

Her hand was hanging down the bed while she was being revived. Without a care in the world, I ran towards the bed and tightly held on to her hand. "I love you so much, Lisa. Thank you for bringing so much color to my world. If I have to let you go so you can enjoy real paradise in heaven with no limits, then so be it. I cannot promise you that I will be happy right away, but I will try to be. I'm going to dig deep and find it in me, no matter how long it takes."

The tears from my eyes dropped on her hand as I planted a soft kiss on her palm. "No goodbyes, Lisa. I'll see you in our own paradise in my dreams. Please don't leave me there."

"We've done everything that we can," I heard one of the doctors say.

Mel and Minnie began crying even louder.

All of a sudden, I felt her fingers twitch in my hands. It's like the spark that was released when our fingers touched was transferred to her body, and then to her heart. The monitor started to record her beat of her heart again, causing everyone to get up on their feet.

My heart began to race as I got up to check on her. "Lisa?"

"We're getting her normal heart beat back," said one of the nurses. They began doing checks on her, but I didn't even bother looking. My attention was focused on her face as it slowly regained its color.

Out of nowhere, she started breathing deeply. Her eyes slowly opened in half as her fingers intertwined with mine.

"She's awake," I breathed out in disbelief. "Oh my god, she's alive. She's breathing. She's... she's looking at me."

The room went silent. Both Mel Minnie and Rosé rushed back to Lisa's side only to find out that I wasn't just seeing things.

"Lisa, baby?" Mel choked while trying to fully awaken her niece.

She blinked a few times before finally opening her eyes. I was afraid she wasn't going to recognize me again or any of us. But it didn't take long before that cute mouth of her broke into a grin.

I felt the strength that I once lost slowly burst inside of me as I gave her a massive hug while sobbing. Relief, happiness, shock , I was feeling everything all at once.

"I thought you left me for good," I cried in her hospital gown. "Don't ever do that to me again. That wasn't funny, Lisa."

Once I was able to contain myself, I gave Mel and Minnie time to hug her and ask her how she was feeling. The doctor had to take a few tests, so I just stood by her side waiting for my time to speak with her. After everyone was done, I pulled a chair and sat by her side, my hand never letting go of her.
