Jealousy

Zoe's P.O.V.

Upon our arrival to Louise's house, we decided that our first activity would be junk food and a movie. Having eaten dinner already, we each grabbed our snack of choice (mine being pop-tarts) and sat down on the couch to watch Mean Girls for the thousandth time.

After laughing nonstop for the first half of the movie, I began to get a bit drowsy. I must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes the T.V. had been turned off, and Louise was nowhere to be seen. Ah well, I thought. She must have gone up to bed already.

I decidedly couldn't be bothered to move, and just curled up on the couch, a feeling of happiness and security spreading through me.

I woke up before Louise, and decided to fix us some breakfast. After a few minutes of pondering what to make us, I remembered that my cooking skills were nil, and decided to go with fruit and yogurt.

Once the food was prepared, and the coffee put on, I wandered over to the fridge to take a look at the pictures and magnets on it. You really can tell so much about a person just by their fridge decorations.

After glancing at the accumulated take-a-way menues, my eyes landed on a family photo. In it, Matt and Louise were sat on the bench in their garden, with baby glitter between them. All three were laughing as the parents hugged their beloved child. It made my heart ache. They were all so happy! I wanted this! I wanted a companion to laugh with me and hold me tight, someome who understood me, but I could also be with on a romantic level. Oh, why was I so jealous?

"Aloha Sprinklerinos!" Louise greeted, snapping me out of my trance. "G-good morning" I stuttered, racking my brain for the adequate words.

"What's up with you?" Louise asked, "Something wrong?" "No, no, I'm good" I said, plastering a smile on my face. "Ready for breakfast?"
