Zoe's P.O.V.

So Louise was making me go out. I was acting annoyed, but was secretly happy. I like going out, it's just that I'm too shy to ever ask anybody to come with me.

"So who are you calling to ask to come tonight?" I questioned Louise as I started to apply eyeliner. I had decided to go for bold eyes with neutral lips.

"Just some YouTube friends" she replied, "You know some of them actually."

"Really, who is it?" I wondered out loud.

"Well really I just called up one person" she explained, "you know Marcus? Then I asked him to bring a few friends."

"Oh yeah I know Marcus" I replied, glad that I would know at least one person there other than Louise. "Did he say who he was bringing?"

"Well obviously his girlfriend Niomi, then he said he was going to invite Jim, which means Tanya will be there, and then he also invited Alfie Deyes."

"I love Jim and Tan" I responded, "and Niomi is a sweetheart. The name Alfie sounds familiar, but I don't know if I've really met him."

"Oh yes you did, at Summer In The City" she reminded me.

That was Alfie? I couldn't go clubbing with him! He was too famous. Not to mention gorgeous...and single. I'd probably ruin the chance of ever even being friends with him if we went clubbing together!

"Zoe?" Louise said, pulling me out of my thoughts "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, fine, I just-uh, I think I remember him now."

"Did you remember the fact that he's single too?" she questioned, a smirk growing on her face.

I wanted to say 'yes chummy that is exactly what I was thinking about', but I just responded with an "Oh shush, let's finish up getting ready now."

-------------------------------

As we walked into the club, I started to feel nervous anf self conscious. What was I doing here? Did I honestly think that I could pull off this dress? It was a short, studded, long-sleeve bodycon that I had paired with a leather jacket and stilletos. Louise, seeing me tense up grabbed my hand to calm me. I slowly started to feel better, knowing that my best friend was by my side.

That's it! I thought suddenly. No way was I going to let anxiety ruin a funfilled night with friends. I quickly started walking forward so that I wouldn't wimp out. Louise followed me until we found Marcus, and the people he had invited.

"Hi guys!" Louise practically yelled over the music.

Everyone chimed in hi's and hello's as well as other general greetings. I wanted to meet Alfie Deyes properly, but he didn't seem to be here yet. Oh well, I thought, I'll just have to be introduced later.

"Shall we get some drinks?" Chummy asked.

"Yeah, let's go to the bar" I replied, starting to make my way over.

Once we had gotton our drinks (mine being a shirley temple), we headed back over to the group.

We chatted for a little while, and then Niomi said she wanted to dance. I thought that sounded like fun, so all of the girls went out onto the dance floor.

"This is my favorite song" I squealed as a One Direction number came on. Looking around though, I realized that my comment had been left unheard. None of my friends were anywhere near me.

"Mine too" came a man's voice from behind me. A strange man had come up to dance with me, I had never seen him before.

"Umm that's nice" I mumbled, trying to inconspicuosly dance away from him. Where was Louise?

But he wasn't having it. "Let's dance" he said and wrapped his arms around me from behind, dribbling his drink down my dress in the process.

"I don't think so" I said, raising my voice slightly.

"Come on" he whispered in my ear, "You know you want to."

No, I knew I did not want to. In one burst, I freed myself from his grasp, managing to spill even more of his drink down my dress. I quickly ran towards the door, and somehow kept my tears back, as I heard him cuss me out. What was this guy's problem?!

I tried to run strait through the door, but someone else was trying to get in. "Sorry" I mumbled, frantic to get out of here.

"Hey wait a second" the person called, "Are you alright?"

I guess I hadn't been able to keep the tears in as well as I thought I was.

"Fine, I'm fine" I assured.

"No you're not" the man said, "let's go outside."

Why was this stranger being so kind? Who was it?

My question was answered as we stepped outside into the street light. The man was Alfie Deyes. The one I had wanted to impress was now seeing me as a crying mess. God. Could this night get any worse?
