Part 4

I entered her house. I could already hear the loud music from beneath.
I walked down the stairs and entered the basement. It was dark with some party lights shining above and the loud music throbbed in my ears.
There were lots of people just dancing like crazy, out of which I spotted light brown hair with lavender highlights.
Yep, it was Tamara.
I pushed through the crowd and stopped right in front of her face.
"Oh! Look who's here. Hayley!" she slurred, half drunk.
"I'm here for the drinks Tamara." I shouted over the music.
She pointed towards a long table with hundreds of drinks. There was a bartender too.
Oh, wait, it was just Sam.
Sam was one of Reggie's best friends.
He had dark brown hair, matching his eyes, and tattoos all over his hands.
I headed over to him. He handed me a drink and said, "Weren't you at Reggie's?"
Oh no, please don't tell him I'm here. I told him I was unwell.
"Yeah... Do me a favor and don't tell him I'm here okay?"
He nodded.
Phew!
I drank a sip from it.
I let out a long sigh. It had been so long since I had had alcohol!
It took me about 15-20 minutes to frantically go mad and get completely drunk. I don't even remember how many drinks I had.
I danced like crazy! Until I came across a guy. Even though I couldn't see his face I made up my mind that he was hot.
I waited for him to turn around. And when he did, I was shocked to see Alex.
He looked at me and waved. I walked over to him and said, "Hi Alex."
Or something like that, I don't remember honestly.
But we got into a conversation eventually.
"Woah! You are really drunk. Want me to drop you home or something? I don't think you'll be able to drive and-"
I don't remember what happened after that, exept for the fact that my vision was blurring out. And it all went blank.

I lay on a soft, well cushioned bed. I opened my eyes to find 3 faces just staring at me.
They were of Tamara, Alex and Reggie.
I opened my mouth to say something but Tamara interrupted me.
"Oh, looks like she is awake."
"Wha-what happened?" I asked, really confused.
"You drank too much, that's what." said Tamara in a really annoyed tone. "Anyway, we should leave." she signalled to Alex.
After they left, it was just me and Reggie.
How was Reggie here? I'm so confused.
Reggie turned around and looked at me, in my eye. His hazel eyes, they were filled with hurt. What did I do now?
"Reg?" I asked in a feeble tone.
"Why did you lie to me?" he finally said, after waiting for a few minutes.
"i-"
Reggie pulled out his phone and showed me a picture. It was of me, drunk and-
What!
I don't remember this at all.
My hand was on Alex's cheek and his face was inches away from mine.
No way! I would never betray Reggie.
Who even took that picture?
Tamara.
And she had to send it to Reggie.
"Reg I'm sorry! I don't remember this at all and-"
"Hayley, we have been together for 2 WHOLE YEARS!"
"I know I messed up! I'm so sorry. I was drunk and I-i don't remember anything from last night. I came to Tamara's party and then I end up here, on this bed. Where am I in the first place?"
"Tamara's house. She was kind enough to let you stay here."
Yeah sure, it's because she wanted drama.
"Reggie I'm sorry! What can I do to make it up to you?" I asked, sitting up straight.
He shook his head and said, "I need some time, Hayley. Just give me a day or two, we'll sort it out."
He walked out of the room.

After a while I walked out of Tamara's house, to head back home. I had stayed out all night. And I messed up big time.
"Hey, um-Hayley."
It was Alex.
"Uh, hi. You stayed back for so long? You didn't have to..." I said.
"No, I had to. And, I'm sorry about last night. I'm new here, and I didn't know you and Reggie-"
"No, Alex, it's not your fault. In the picture it was clearly me... You didn't do anything, and I don't deserve an apology. Thanks anyway."
"Well, I could drive you home. You don't look in a good condition."
He was clearly trying to be nice. But I couldn't take anymore favours from him. Reggie already probably hates him.
"No, I'll drive."
