After that whole ordeal, Taeyong only introduced me to Jaemin, not bothering to introduce me to the rest of the boys. I'm not complaining though. Meeting them all today is too overwhelming, especially when I have to focus on my 'role' in the group.

To be honest, I'm still pretty confused about what exactly I have to do but I didn't let it show. I have to show them that I'm confident and they should trust me. Yes, I am desperate.

Similarly to last time, everyone went off to different directions to do their own thing while I followed Jaemin. He leads me into a grey empty training room with no equipment or anything anywhere.

Jaemin explained that this room is the combat training area so there's nothing here to prevent accidents. We stood right in the middle of the room, sitting down on the ground, and he went into more detail of what they actually do and about there missions.

"First, I'd like to clear up that NCT is absolutely not involved in all the things the news and gossip forums say. What we mainly do is provide Euthanasia. Euthanasia is a process of intentionally ending a life to allow the patient to be relieved of pain," Jaemin clarifies.

I nod my head slowly, remembering learning about this a few years ago in high school.

Seeing me understand, he continues, "Yesterday, our mission was to provide Euthanasia to one of the largest shareholders hosting the gala. The news of his death should be out around tomorrow afternoon."

I pause my nodding and stare at the boy in front of me with wide eyes. Never in my life would I've imagined that's what they were doing.

Euthanasia has always been a controversial topic with people opposing it since they believe that doctors should save people, not kill them. It's also technically assisted suicide. Due to all the protests, it eventually became illegal.

In my personal opinion, when reading all the texts about it during high school, I found it was perfectly fine and that it should be legal though I do understand why people think otherwise.

"Then what about that day.....when I saw Taeyong," I quietly question.

"I said we mostly provide Euthanasia. That doesn't mean we don't kill. Every single person in this gang is born to kill, it's our instinct. We usually just end the lives of corrupt officials and other gangs in gang fights. For officials, we only attack those who harm us. Those types of fights aren't common but they do happen once in a while."

Gang fights. I hear that all the time on the news. The news doesn't say what gangs they're from but everyone just assumes it involves NCT because of there fearsome reputation.

"You probably won't have to kill anyone but when we introduce you as a member, no doubt people are going to target you, so you'll have to learn how to defend yourself. Lucas will probably teach you about that though. What you'll usually be doing and training is acting."

"This gang has doctors, snipers, close combat fighters, and pretty much everything. The only thing we lack is an actor. As you probably already know from being raised in a wealthy family, acting is a vital part of our society. We want to mold you into the perfect character."

I listen carefully as Jaemin talked more about what I would be doing.

"Your persona is a rich and powerful young miss that goes by the name 'Miss Freak'. You're above everyone else and to you, you might as well be God. You're irritatingly obnoxious and the most haughty of them all. Society has all these unwritten rules that people absolutely cannot do, otherwise, they're looked down upon. You, on the other hand, can break all those but allow no one to disregard you," Jaemin voices seriously.

Hey....isn't this kind of.....embarrassing? My parents have always taught me not to take anything for granted and to be humble. This whole new persona is the exact opposite of that and goes against all of my morals.

Don't even remind me the name I'll go by is Miss Freak. How ridiculous is that?! Besides, if I have to act elegant yet superior, wouldn't my alias name be more graceful? Did the person who made this all up, drink too much when he thought about this? Not that I'll say no though. Whatever they want me to do, I'll do.

"Before you called Ten shameless, which he is, but for this, you'll have to be more so than him. Every step you take carries such pressuring charisma that no one can look away. The moment you enter the room, no matter how big, you'll immediately capture everyone's attention."

He went on to say what should happen when I'm in character and more about it.

He eventually started teaching me how I should talk to people and even fixed my posture to make me seem more arrogant. Jaemin demonstrated how my expression should always appear even if all odds are against me.

"No! You're doing it all wrong! You are not Kim Jennie but Miss Freak. Remember, no one knows who she is under that mask, but everyone knows your powerful backing. Don't worry about how they know, we'll take care of that. The alias 'Miss Freak' is called that because she's an absolute freak. She's conceited the way she thinks is scornful, but she doesn't care because that's just who she is," Jaemin shouts angrily.

After giving me a notebook and making me jot down key points about what I should do and how I should present myself, he left the room to do something, leaving me alone. He didn't forget to remind me to keep practicing though. When he left, instead of practicing how I should act, I thought more about the character.

Miss Freak...I imagine her to be snobbish and vain, but despite all the hateful glares, she still remains proud. She should also speak in a strange, airy way. The more I thought about it in-depth, the easier I got into character and the less screaming Jaemin did.

Weeks of vigorous acting passed, with only 3 calls to the outside world a fortnight, in a blink of an eye. Before I knew it, it was showtime.
