"Wasn't that fun?" Taeyong grinned widely at the shaken girl.

"I thought I was going to die," Jennie responded, shocked at what she just did.

He furrowed his eyebrows and looked a little more concerned, "you ok?"

"No. What we did there was so crazy," she shook her head, "strangely though, you're right. It was...fun. Really fun actually. I've never felt like that before."

He broke out into another wide smile, "told you it would be fun."

After getting changed and ready for bed, Jennie walked towards Taeyong's hotel room, as always. Knowing what awaited her the moment she gave in to sleep's temptation, she was very reluctant to sleep. She buried her head deep into his chest, as he stroked her hair. As much as he wanted to hug her and whisper to her how much she meant to him, he knew his boundaries. Him sleeping on the same bed as her was already pushing it.

"Can you hum for me?" Jennie asked.

Ever since she started getting the nightmares, she asked everyone if they had any medication that would help keep her awake. Taeyong prohibited anyone from giving it to her. As much as he knew she was suffering, he couldn't let her poison her body with drugs. He knew what she was going through all too well and he wasn't going to let her make the same mistake he did.

To help her, he would hum a melodious tune. The humming would make her go to sleep but would also help her body be calm. After experimenting on himself, he found that the body being calm right before going to sleep wouldn't completely make the nightmares go away, but would make it less scary.

This allowed her to get the sleep she needed while also easing her night terrors. He did this with the younger members in the dream unit.

Taeyong nodded at Jennie's request and began humming. Seeing her slowly grow immune to this method since they did it so often, he decided to try and change things up a bit.

"Why don't you hum or sing for me instead. It might help," he suggested.

Jennie froze at his request, "I...I don't sing anymore."

"Anymore? Why not?" he asked.

"I just don't like it anymore," she faked a smile.

Taeyong merely nodded his head and continued humming. While caressing Jennie's arm, he noticed a dark purple mark on hr wrist.

"Did he do this?" he demanded to know, gritting his teeth.

Scared, Jennie quickly said, "it's fine it doesn't hurt. Don't worry about it."

All he felt was rage and fury, "I'm going to kill that bastard."

"No no it's fine. He was just asking about something. No need to start a whole war," she tried to calm him.

"What did he ask that was worth him bruising you?" he asked sarcastically, clearly not caring.

Jennie knew that Taeyong really would kill him but she couldn't allow him to. Yoongi had already been through too much because of her.

Taeyong had already stood up, ready to go. She grabbed his hand and pulled him back to the bed. It was time to tell him the truth.

Shaking nonstop, Jennie quietly said, "before you go, let me tell you a story."

"Not now. I have someone to kill," Taeyong stood up to leave again.

How dare someone touch someone he cared about.

A hand forcefully pulled him down back onto the bed. he looked down, seeing Jennie shaking and on the verge of tears. She looked so desperate for him to stay and listen. Softening, he sat down and turned to her, caressing her cheeks.
