Internet Problems|Ch. 5

    I arrived 2 years ago. Not much has changed since then. There's always been about a dozen people in the cabin. Annabeth's always been the leader of the cabin. She's been gone a lot with Percy so Malcolm Pace has been taking her place recently.

    Inside of the cabin has a workshop and a library. The library is filled with thousands of books which I read many of them and old scrolls, as well as some desks and chairs for demigods to read some books and study. The workshop is filled with work benches and more desks, and the cupboards are filled with materials to build things. There are also several 3-D models of buildings, blueprints, old war maps, and armors.

    The armory is next to our cabin which I went to when I arrived here to pick my weapon. I picked a sword that can become a knife. It has many uses because it can be either one of the 2 most useful things. The sword is for battle and the knife is for many uses to survive.

   After that I found myself a place in the Athena cabin and not much has changed since.

    "Stop zoning out and come to dinner,"Malcolm said to me.

    I told him,"I'm working on the internet problem."

    "Seriously, you've been working on that for weeks now. Just be happy that you have manga."

    'No, I'm so close to solving it. We just need to do a few more things."

    "Ughh just give up, it's hopeless," Malcolm said while walking out the room.

    "Just come to dinner," as Malcolm shut the door.

    I'll show him.

    After a few minutes I went to eat dinner when most people were done. Today I ate Korean chicken, one of my favorite foods. I was tired of trying to find a solution to the internet problem.

    I went to my computer I made a year ago with a kid from Cabin 9. It was almost campfire time so I played some games that are offline because we can't use the internet.

    It was almost 2 years ago when I met him again. I was best friends with Jeremy for a few years because of our bond of anime. But, one day he disappeared. I could find no trace of him and everyone acted like he didn't exist. His mom just kept ignoring me and blocked my number.

    He was here all along. We stared at each other for many seconds. Then I was dragged to get my weapon.

    We never spoke for almost 2 days until he tried to apologize. But, I was young and dumb so I didn't know about the mist and why he could never tell me about this so I ignored him until I hated the fact we couldn't use internet and we didn't have any computers. I knew only he would help me build it. But, I couldn't face him since he left 2 years ago.

    It took me a month but I broke. So I walked to him ready to ask him to help me.

    "Hey."

    "Um, hey"

    "It's been a while."

    "Yeah almost 2 years."

    "Why, did you leave?"

    "I had to! I couldn't say a word to you."

    "No, you wanted to keep this from me."

    "I'm sorry!! I'll give you a favor if you want even."

     It all clicked in place. I'll take the favor and ask him to help me to make the computer.

    "Ok I'll take that favor. Help me make a computer."

     And at that moment we got to work. I remember it like it was yesterday.

     "Kandel, it's time for the campfire."Malcolm called me to the campfire.

   Well 2 new kids came, I hope they are childs of Athena cause not a lot of the Athena kids are new. So I hope they get claimed today.
