I move fast down the long hallway keeping my steps light being as quick and as quiet as I possibly can, getting as much distance as I could get between him and I, giving myself the best possible chance at escaping. I see there is a total of there doors two on the right and one on the left in a sig-sag pattern with the one on the left sitting in the middle. I walk up to the one I'm closest to which happens to be the only one that sits on the left pulling open the door, the room is dark so I take a step inside and begin feeling the walls beside me for a light switch, clicking it on. I take a look inside of the room it was a bathroom, I let out a squeal of horror before covering my mouth with both of my hands preventing any other sounds from escaping and getting me caught. I stare in terror at the terrible sight, a young girl's dead body lay in the bloody tub, her body all disfigured and mutilated. I have never seen a dead body besides in movies and at funerals but this was different, you almost couldn't recognize her as human if it wasn't for the fact that her face was still mostly intact. I couldn't tell how long she has been dead just that she has been dead for a while.I cringe back as cold shivers rake over my entire body as I watch her dark colorless eyes staring at me, I lean my body over to the right, left, then back to where I originally was. But no matter where I position myself it's like her eyes keep following me, holding their sad terrified expression that matched her pale mangled face, making me feel such pity for her that she had to leave the world this way. What was the last thing she saw before she went his face smiling down at her with his evil smirk? I look at her and I see parts of myself all I can think is will I end up like this killed by a cold-blooded murderer, I don't want to die afraid but how can I not be in my situation. I tense up in my already frozen state as I feel a presence behind me and someone's heavy breathing on my neck.
"What did you do to her?" I ask in a quiet choked up voice.
"Something I, unfortunately, haven't got to do to you yet." He says in a serious voice. I regret asking my question at this very moment.
He leans in closer his warm lips pressing up against my ear as his heavy breaths fan on my ear. "But it's all in due time." He whispers in a deeper voice, before beginning to laughing like a complete maniac. What is wrong with this guy?
I take a deep shaky breath trying to calm down I can still win this deranged thing he calls a game. "I can do this," I tell myself, and without any hesitation or not making my moves seem obvious I quickly turn around swinging my fist up, landing a hard punch to his throat. His hands go up to his neck as he begins to choke and gasp for air, wheezing when he couldn't get any. I grab his right shoulder with both my hands shoving him to the side making him crash into the porcelain sink that laid right next to the door and then falling onto his knees on the floor. Unblocking the doorway, I run to the last room at the end of the hall, closing the door behind me before locking it. I scan the room quickly, it looked to be his room. The walls were a dull grey color and the rest of the room was quite plain actually only a bed, desk, chair, closet, and a window. A window. First I run over to the closet grabbing one of his plain black t-shirts and putting it on since he had cut mine up.
I run over to the window and trying to unlock it. But the latch just won't move because there is a thick layer of sealant covering it and all around the window, essentially gluing it shut and even if I could pick off all the sealant which would take time, screws are also keeping to from opening. I jump in place gasping in a sharp intake of breath as I hear him grab the door handle from outside and jiggling it harshly before resulting to pounding loudly on the door. Did he really think I was stupid enough to leave the door unlocked?
"Open the door!!" He yells from the other side of the door as I scramble around the room for something that can break the glass so that I can climb out of the window.
"If you open this door right now I won't hurt you!!!" He says in a slightly calmer voice trying to convince me to open the door. I slightly laugh to myself when he claims he won't hurt me, that's total bull all he's done since I got here why would I believe that he all of a sudden just won't.
I can't seem to find a single thing to break that window, and if I can't find something soon then he might break down the door and I won't get to escape. I grab a few more of his shirts from the closet wrapping it around my hand to help protect it. I close my eyes tightly and punch the window as hard as I could. A smile appears on my face as I hear the satisfying sound of glass breaking and falling to the ground. I open my eyes and hit the rest of the remaining glass off so I don't get cut when I climb out.
"I'M DONE PLAYING WITH YOU ALLIE OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR!!!" He screams now going ballistic and kicking at the door hard once he heard the glass break, realizing that I had a way out of this room.
Wait I never told him my name. I wonder how he could have known it before I come to the realization that I am probably all over the news or there are missing posters put up about me going missing.
I grab the window seal and begin by putting my feet out first. Glad that this is only a one-story house so I am really close to the ground. I rush to push the rest of myself through the window as I hear the door crack open. Resulting in cutting the left side of my back on a piece of glass that I had left while in a panic. I crouch down on the ground to get the rest of myself out.
I manage to just shove my head out the window fast enough to only feel his hand graze my head. I go from my crouching position under the window to my hands and knees swatting his hands away as I shuffle as far away from the window as I can. I stand up and turn back to see him hit walls on either side of the window in anger. Before turning around and storming out of the room.
