I slowly started to come out of my deep unconscious state. The closer I got to being fully conscious the worse the pain got. The pain coming from all parts of my body. But mostly my head. Waves of pain began in the middle of my forehead. Then spreading throughout the rest of my aching head. Causing it to throb in intense pain.
As my mind becomes less fuzzy. The memories of last night come back. Anxiety and fear take over my body. As it begins to shake uncontrollably. My breathing becomes heavy and uneven. I begin to panic.
Where am I? What is going to happen to me? How could this be happening to me? Why?
"Calm down calm down," I repeat to myself out loud.
I know I need to stay calm. Because freaking out won't help me right now. But it's so hard to not freak out. I have been kidnapped. With no clue where I am now. Or what is going to happen to me?
My body was on a very hard unknown surface. I move my hands up and down. Softly brushing the top of the hard surface my sore aching body laid on. Trying to figure out what it is I'm on. It is cold. I could feel the coldness coming off it and seeping through my clothes and bare skin that my clothes didn't cover. Making me shiver. The surface also felt rough but smooth. It was a weird combination of them both. My guess is it's a floor of some sort I'm on. But I'm not totally sure. It had little pieces on top that moved with my hands as they brushed the top of the surface. I grab a few of the small pieces in my left hand. Rolling them around in my palm. They were hard to. And felt like it seemed to be the same material as the larger surface.
I try to open my eyes. To see exactly where I am at. But they seem to be being held closed by something. I bring my hands up to see what is keeping me from opening. When my hands touch my eyes they are met with a thin flaky substance. That covered both of my eyelashes in a thick layer. Keeping them securely stuck together. Using my nails I gently scrape and peel the substance from my eyelashes.
Once I get off as much as I possibly can. I feel the same substance on my eyelids too. I follow the trail of the substance up past my eyebrows, And to my forehead. Where most of the pain is coming from on my head.
I wince. Sucking in a deep breath from between my front teeth. That sounded almost like a hissing sound. As my hand touches a large bump on the middle of my forehead. Directly below my hairline. That had formed as a result of my head hitting that hard wall last night. Sending even more pain through my head. I immediately take my hand off, and away from my head. Placing it back on the cold hard floor. With my other hand. As my eyes fill with tears that are threatening to spill.
I slowly press weight onto my hands. Trying to get myself into a sitting position. Pushing my top half up more and more. Having to move my hands more behind me the more I sit up.
Once I'm fully up. I finally open my eyes for the first time. Since I woke up. All my now open eyes see is darkness. All around me is pitch black with no signs of light. What so ever. As if my eyes were still closed and not open like they now were.
I bring both of my hands slowly above my head. My elbows bent. As I slowly straighten my arms feeling for anything that may be above me. That my head may hit when I stand up. Waving my hands around making sure that there isn't anything. I don't know the size of the place I'm In.
When I can't feel anything. I bring my hands back down. On either side of me. To help me stand up. As I try to push my poor aching body to my feet and off the place I was laying.
