Rachel's POV
__________Mary and I lugged Kelli's fainted body to the bathroom. Surprisingly no one noticed us carrying her. We laid her body down on a bench. " What are we going to do." Mary said, " she has to preform again." I nodded " I know."
"next performing Kelli Kilpeck with Last kiss." Mary and I looked at each other both worried. The intermission ended.
Then I got an idea, not my best idea and I had never tried it before because I hated this part of me but I decided to try it anyway.
" Mary I'll be right back." " Where are you going." she asked. " I have an idea." and I opened the door and ran out.
I ran down the hall and stopped at the cafe door way. Here goes nothin I thought then I opened my mouth and sang.
Not just any song though, a siren song. As soon as the sound came out of my mouth everyone looked at me and then they all fell under my trance.
I stopped singing and the first person I saw was my mom and sherry, who looked like everyone else. tears filled my eyes, wishing I didn't have to do that. "I am so sorry." I whispered.
Mary came running down the hall, but stopped when she saw me. " what are you doing." she asked. I pointed to the room, she gasped.
" what did you do!" She said scared. Tears started streaming down my face," Dude what is wrong, what happened". I couldn't speak, I was to ashamed to let words come out. man up I said to myself. I took a deep breath and wiped the tears from my face.
Then I saw people walk down the hallway towards us. " Mary cover your ears." I said. "Why." she asked. I looked at her with the look, " Just do it." she put her hands over her ears, and I faced the people walking towards us.
Then I opened my mouth and sang. They looked towards us, then fell over. Mary gasped, " Is that what you did to everyone in there!" I nodded, " that's why you covered your ears, so you would not be effected."
"What the hell was that." she exclaimed. " A siren song, that puts people in a trance, mostly so mermaids could then kill the sailors and fishermen but I'm using it to save my friends life." I said smartly.
" Great way to put it."Mary said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes " At least it works." I sassed. " Now come on, we need to help Kelli."
Kelli's POV
_________I woke up coughing, and wondering how the hell I got in the bathroom? I saw Mary and Rachel standing up against the wall across the room. I cleared my throat to get their attention.
" Kelli your awake, we thought you would never wake up." Mary said running towards me. " Actually it was only you who thought that." Rachel said. I laughed." I have a few questions."
" Ok ask away." said Mary. " Ok first of all how did I get here." " We carried you" Rachel answered. " Ok, what happened, that made you carry me here."
"Duh your crazy full moon effects made you pass out." " Well sorry, and how long have I been out." " Half an hour" said Mary. " Where are are parents, aren't they worried?" I asked.
Rachel didn't look like she wanted to answer so I figured it had something to do with her. " Well." Mary started, " Rachel used some sort of spell on everyone in the cafe."
"You did what!" I yelled. " Calm down." she said giving Mary the death stare, " You passed out and we brought you in here. But then intermission ended and they called you up and you still hadn't woken up yet, so I went to the cafe and sang them something."
" You sang in front of all those people." I ask surprised " No it wasn't a normal song, it was a siren song that put everyone under a trance so you could sing and no one would know you passed out, or that any time passed."
"Rachel you are a genius!" I exclaimed jumping up and hugging her. " thanks you are the only one who like the idea." she said giving Mary another death stare.
"Well she didn't witness you use it on someone like I did!" she yelled.
