Kelli's POV
________I walked out of the bathroom fully awake. Mary and Rachel were behind me when I walked down the stairs to the cafeteria. I had Rachel wake everyone up once I was at the piano.
I walked on stage, sat at the piano, and covered my ears as Rachel woke everyone up. Tim, the host, continued. "So, Kelli." He said. "Have fun. This is your last song."
Rachel started the clapping. I took a deep breath. "This song is 'last kiss' by Taylor Swift." I said. "I put on my own twist, and I transposed it up a step." I placed my fingers on the keys.

Mary's POV
_________I'm actually glad Rachel did this when Kelli passed out. I thought it was a bad idea since it affected everyone who heard her. Allie woke up along with Jason. "What happened." Allie asked. "I went black for a second and now I'm awake."
Kelli. I thought. Hurry up and start playing. Right when I thought that, Kelli put her hands back on the piano and started playing. The rhythm was great for a delicate song.
She started off great. However, after every note she played, a tear was on one of the keys. She shed a tear after every chorus. She went into the bridge with ease. I don't know how she does it.
She paused for three seconds. I thought she was done, but she kept singing. "🎶 So, I go sit on the floor wearing your clothes. All that I know is I don't know how to be something you miss. Never thought we'd have a last kiss.🎶"
She finished the song and three tears dripped down on the white keys. Not the black keys. She wasn't playing them. She walked off and towards us with her hand over her eyes. I took her aside.
"OMG!" I said. "That was amazing. Why cover your eyes?" She took her hand off and they flashed from brown to yellow and back to brown. An expression of concern crossed my face. "Ya." Kelli said. "Get Rachel. We are hiding for for a while."
She walked out of the cafeteria and stood by the stairs waiting for us. Rachel walked to the stairwell and waited for me and I waited until there was another song playing.
Jason was seated next to Allie and me. He was staring at the piano. I snapped him out of the trance. "Hello?" I said. "You okay?" He started coming back to reality. "Oh, yeah." He said. "I'm fine. Wait. Has any time passed?"
I shrugged. "Well, when Kelli was playing the song yeah." I said. He wasn't amused. "No." He said. "I mean before Kelli came on stage." Right when he said that, a shock went down my spine. "No." I said quickly. "Not at all. You must have fell asleep during the intermission."
He shook his head. "No, I didn't." He said. "I don't remember anything after the intermission and next thing I knew, Kelli was up at the piano." We were talking over the bagel joke that was on. I looked at the stairwell and Kelli was motioning for me to get the hell out.
I shot her an 'I'm trying' face. She didn't buy it. She then gave me the death stare as her eyes glowed yellow for a second. I face palmed.
"What are you doing?" Jason asked annoyed. "I feel like there's something going on with the three of you. Kelli, Rachel, and you." I just got up and broke into a sprint passing Kelli and Rachel. "Go now." I said. "Jason's trailing us."
.....
Jason's POV
_________As I saw Mary break into a sprint towards the stairs, I kind of got suspicious. Maybe those girls are hiding something. I got up and started walking. "Where are,you going?" Allie suddenly asked. "The bathroom. Why?" I said. "I'll be right back." She sighed. "Oh." Allie said. "Just wondering."
I walked towards the bathroom, but went to the stairwell and out the door. Outside, I breathed in the fresh air. I looked to my left and saw the girls. Kelli, Mary, and Rachel. However something seemed different about Kelli. I heard her yell. "Guys, let's hide, before anyone is on our trail and before the full moon gets to me."
I wonder. What does that mean. No one I know says that. Then I heard Mary say, "Kelli's right. We have to go onto the cross country trail. It's a good escape route." They walked towards the woods. Kelli put on her sweater and flipped her hood up, over her head.
Should I follow them? I thought. I mean, I want to know what those girls are hiding and I want to know soon. Well now would be better. However, I feel like I have found the trail they're taking.
Their walking turned into jogging and then sprinting. I decided to follow them if I wanted to find the truth.
